Past Projects of AIESEC Green Tirana Green Tirana was an environmental project realised on May-June in Tirana. The project aimed to raise awareness about many environmental issues in Tirana, as well as educate the young generation to become more environmentally responsible.
This project used two kinds of campaigns. The first was hold in secondary schools to talk about pollution and to teach them sustainable ecological ways to keep a clean and healthy environment. The second campaign aimed to raise public awareness of the most polluted areas of Tirana and also clean some of this parts.
Raise a Helping Hand This project was raised to come in help for children in need, especially the Roma children. The aim of the project was to make their integration in our society easier by teaching them how to read and take care of their selves, also present them with different opportunities to build their future. We also tried to have an impact in our general society by presenting people with the needs of this groups and integrating them in the project by donating materials such as books or clothes.
Be a Solution
'Be a Solution' was a project which aimed to raise awareness in the Albanian society about causes, consequences and solutions for corruption.
In order to reach this goals, the project was divided in many stages and events. Raise awareness worked as a cooperation with the people where a survey was done to find more about how people perceive corruption in our society. Agora’s which worked in the form of forum’s and discussions where people, especially students, would come to discuss about corruption and implement possible solutions to different cases.
The project lasted 6 weeks and was supported by the Frederish Ebert Stiftung and the Ministry of Social Welfare.

Make It Possible Description: “Make It Possible” aims to raise awareness in Albania regarding the 8 Millennium Development Goals evaluated by UN. By the end of 2015 this goals must be fulfilled. Our main aim is to introduce this goals to the young generation to understand Albania’s progress and what’s more to be done.

The intern is responsible for the promotion of the project and the external events.
The intern is responsible of organizing and managing the events, as well as the prepareation of the final event.The trainee will be responsible for the organization of forums with different target groups to discuss on relevant topics related with this goals.
The intern will have to collect ifnormation and data regarding the number and percantage of people who are affected by this issues and give examples of solutions to improve the situation. Weeks 12-18 January

Make It Possible Explanation of the activities Preparation Seminar During this week, AIESEC will train the interns for the project. Also, the goal of this week is to integrate the interns with the Albanian society and culture. Dragging Attention This event will be developed in form of a discussion between the interns and the students regarding the two first topics. Students will understand more about the two main issues of poverty and global diseases. The purpose of this event is to understand of what can be done differently and how can we raise awareness in our society. The hall of Misery In a cooperation with other agencies, we aim to give an exhibition of photos of people in extreme poverty and documentaries of their lives. Also in the gallery will be presented documentaries of people living with AIDS and other types of deadly diseases and explain how they can be prevented and who are the most affected groups. Talk to her In this event famous and successful women will be contacted to talk about their careers, how they got so far and what are the main struggles a woman faces in becoming successful. I can Be The students will be presented with different representatives of vulnerable groups in our society who will explain more about the problems this targets face and how important primary education is. “MC&BH� Mother Care &Babies Health This event will be organized in a form of campaign where students will make a video in order to promote more info booklets and nursing & consulting in hospitals especially for the young mothers. ecoRoots The students will be presented with different environmental agencies in Albania and cooperate with them in some of their activities. Also the aim is to introduce to the students the concept of entrepreneurial and build a network of young people and organizations, as well as companies, to keep the place clean and lobby for different environmental issues especially in Tirana.
Make Possible GreenItTirana Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow This is the final event that will be organized. The event will be held in the form of an Open Library, where everyone will have a chance to discus how our society has evolved and what changes have happened concerning this 8 goals. The interns will organize the event and they will also be responsible to do a sum up of the events that happened during the 6 weeks and what they have achieved.
The 8 Goals have been divided in 4 weeks of school activities. Each week students from schools will be discussing two topics with the interns. Also the interns will be organizing activities to make the classes more proactive. By the end of the week, specifically during Saturdays, students will gather in bigger events as explained in the timeline.
