Addressing a welcome speech, Youth Secretary of USBLA, Tsilise highlighted that the intentions of organizing the programme was to invoke God’s abundant blessings for the candidates and help them remain purposefully faithful in the clean election movement. Thanking all who made the program a success, USBLA further urged all the voters to remain steadfast in the clean election movement. The program ended with a ‘kneel-down’ gesture of prayer.

DIMAPUR: The Chukitong Range Chairman’s Association (CRCAQ), Wokha has appealed to all the citizens of Chukitong Range to uphold the peaceful environment within Chukitong Range area during the upcoming 14th NLA election.

In a press release issued by CRCA president Janthungo Kikon and secretary, Khonbensao Lotha has condemned the February 9 incident, where unknown miscreants illegally burned down the private residence of Chiyingo Kikon, PA to Dy. CM Y Patton, which was situated between Chukitong Town to Seluku Village under Koio jurisdiction. The association also reiterated and warned those political parties, groups and individuals not complying with this appeal letter and creating law and order situation such as vandalizing of vehicles, destruction of houses and attacking as well as threatening of any individuals within Chukitong Range area will be viewed seriously. The association warned that it will initiate stern action against those defaulters as deemed appropriate.
