How to Jailbreak iOS 6.1 Untethered using evasi0n from Windows Computer The first thing you should do is upgrade to any version of iOS 6.X (usually iOS 6.1 because it is the latest available). Then follow the steps we suggest. Step 1 . Download evasi0n for Windows from their official website , and extract the contents. Step 2 . Double click the application to start. Step 3 . Disable the password to unlock your device, if you have. Step 4 . Connect your device to your PC using the USB cable. Works for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad with iOS 6.X, but not for the Apple TV. Step 5 . You should see a message on the tool that says your device has been detected. At that time, the option to jailbreak will be unavailable. Step 6 . Click on the Jailbreak button and the process will begin. Step 7 . It Will run a series of steps in which you have to do nothing. These include preparing jailbreak data, inject them into the device’s firmware, reboot and install Cydia with your package list. This takes a few minutes, so be patient. Step 8 . At this time, you will see a screen that prompts you to do something. What we need to do can not be easier: unlock the device, look for a icon that says Jailbreak and press it once.
