Developed a communication proposal for Airbnb Italia to promote Florence's Isolotto area on their new platform and shed more light on the lesser known areas of Florence. We worked to develop authentic that included individual travellers as well as families with children that were diverse in nature yet remained true to the area. The project was featured online on Airbnb citizen.
Created a new service design blueprint and other relevant solutions for Iradier restaurant to help them standardize their catering process without losing their personal touch. After much research, analysis, and careful consideration, the developed blueprint mapped out all the different touchpoints and interactions that took place during any of their given services with emphasis on how Iradier could maximize on these opportunities using proposed templates or such tools.
Promotional activity to launch the executive lunch menu of the restaurant Bellavista del Jardín del Norte in Barcelona using the concept of a ‘message in a bottle’. The restaurant is famous for its village theme with its different characteristic spots such as a news kiosk, town square, barber shop, as well as a water fountain, that is free for customers to refill the in-house Bellavista branded bottles. The water bottle was used to deliver the news of the new menu and invite recipients to try it and the newspaper wrapping gave more details on the promotion.
Rebranding the budding Art Inn brand in Florence to share the brand values of its counterparts in Lisbon and Seattle while remaining true to each city’s uniqueness. The work included naming its new suites as well as crafting the storytelling for each along with merchandise ideas. Since each Art Inn’s interior has been designed by a local artist, the communication for Florence’s designer, Giuliano Caportali’s exihibition was developed.
Project for Tour N Cure Egypt which offers the best medical services to Hep C patients along with the opportunity to travel around Egypt as they receive their treatment. Thus, we created an interactive platform where our success story and cured patients are our brand advocates; directly translating to lead generation. Once you visit the site; you can geographically locate any patient worldwide; and connect with them to ask them whatever questions including inquiring about the services provided by Tour N Cure. This was launched along with a TVC starring Messi as an advocate for the cause, featured on ads of the world.
The power of agility, and the power of going viral. Aside from our continuous stream of dynamic content for Haircode, we created a 25” video content designed specifically on brand; and specifically with the brand’s target audience in mind jumping on the Mannequin Challenge trend. Instead of being like every other brand that tried this and failed; we did the Anti Mannequin Challenge. This piece of content resulted in 1.45M Organic Reach, 723 K Views, and 2.5K Shares within in under two weeks.

Ganna’s Platform “Your Kitchen. Your Playground” was a success back in 2012; but the brand stayed silent on ATL communication channels. To reinforce the brand’s main communication platform and further build its affinity - we challenged the status quo of underestimating MENA housewives on social media. We invited Ghada El Tally; one of Egypt’s most celebrated chefs to create her own recipe and inviting the Ganna women to create their own, photograph and upload it to our page. It yielded 2.2 million views, 6872 image submissions and an increase of 200K fan base on the Ganna Facebook page.
A niche, foreign brand that lacks the emotional connection and brand power to join the online conversation with its target audience as such, we set out to design a highly personalized thematic campaign for Kiri that reflects the stories of mothers, their target audience. Identifying pivotal moments, we used the data to inform the content creation for each step of the consumer journey through on-ground activation, in app communication and social content. The result through social comms deepened engagement with 14M campaign reach, 7.9M View Views, with an average engagement rate of 2.53%.
Worked on Vodafone’s 2016 Ramadan campaign, inspired by the 1960s Egyptian puppet operetta El Leila El Kebira (The Grand Night), kicking it off with the first video content (starring 11 superstars) hitting +1M views on Facebook video in just 5 hrs and now over 21 Million views and 981k in shares. The ‘Big Family’ Theme is meant to encourage audience to expand the family concept to include friends and neighbors; as such, the rest of the launched content played up the concept and encouraged fan engagement. Moreover, an additional activity where fans, celebrities, and influencers would identify who their ‘big family’ is was in play simultaneously and garnered a big buzz throughout the month of Ramadan.

Rebranding Pecci center for contemporary arts in Prato, Italy which does more than simply house art. The center is in the process of expansion and will be unveiling a new building soon.
Excellent Gusto
Excellent Gusto is a lifestyle magazine that allows its readers to read up on many different subjects ranging from fashion to food, business, and travel. In terms of art direction, the topic was taken on from an entirely different perspective. The immersive concept came to life with food photography being the hero.

Application creation of Gourmant, Italy’s first online “community” dedicated to gourmet food, and that includes the user experience (UX) and its user interface (UI). It has since been acquired by Eataly.
Visual identity and interface design created for a gaming blog called 'GAMEXALL' that writes reviews about Android gaming apps.

WEB & APPLICATION DESIGN
Branding and creation of Facebook application Quickwit, previously known as Zuffle, which was among the first Facebook apps to showcase a ‘flat’ design attributes. The online gaming platform consists of a series of brain teasers that users can play solo or challenge others to a ‘duel’.
Rebranding KlubKangaroo’s website and ios mobile application. The platform allows users to order their groceries directly to their doorstep and can automate the orders by frequency to save time, effort, and money.
Developed the UX/UI for an on-demand pick-up and delivery app that connects you to your neighborhood stores for your convenience. The app was created for the Egyptian & Canadian market by the name of 1Trolley.
The brief was to elevate 1trolley's user interface and overall look & feel, to enhance their user experience from initial navigation and ordering process; by redesigning the app to match brand's identity, and make it appealing to its target audience and B2B prospects. The app has launched in May of 2020 and will soon be available in Canada.
Created the UX flow and website design for the Vlogfest website, a vlogging festival launched in 2020 that strives to promote destinations via a vlogging competition among 10 of the world’s top travel content creators. Worked on the frontend and backend in order to deliver a seamless experience before shifting my focus towards my other task: promoting their online comms and handling all things social/marketing

By the time the Malta competition had concluded, the website and subsequently the ten videos created have had more than 1.4 MILLION views on social networks and our publications have had more than 3.7 MILLION impressions.
Redesigned and oversaw the rebranding of Vlogfest’s website for the 2022 Cyprus Edition. The launch reflected a more minimalistic approach to the brand.
The UX flow and consequent design were implemented on Wordpress and guided the traffic from the website to then feed into our marketing funnel.
The Vlogfest - CyprusRevamp of the Egypt Serai Travel website, an Egyptian DMC in Cairo, that’s been around for +35 years, in addition to creating the graphics to be displayed in a way that is line with the brand look & feel. Their previous setup was just a landing page that didn’t reflect the brand, its values, and their products. The objective behind this new website was to craft the user experience in a way that caters to both B2B & B2C, with the option for direct online booking.
In addition to the user experience design and interface, I personally implemented the designs on the e-commerce platform.
