Save Girl Child

The existence of human life on this earth is impossible without equal participation of both woman and man. They are equally responsible for this human race on earth. They are also liable for development and growth of our nation. However, the existence of women is far more important than man because without her we can’t image our existence. Today India is growing dynamically in every field. The boom in the economy, innovative technology and improved infrastructure has became nation’s pride. In India dynamic and vibrant universities, IIT, Schools and Collages were setup in changing the global tends. Our country has witnessed an advancement in all fields but a bias against a girl still prevailing in India. In order to improve this condition, many NGO’S, State govt. and Central govt. have launched many laws one like Girl Child Campaign to arrest the declining sex ration. But to save Girl Child it is essential to ascertain the root cause of the backwardness of the society. Being a male dominant society, family’s desire for a male child to carry forth the ancestral heritage. The first question parents ask at the birth of a child, in all society all over the world is always the same “is it a boy or girl”. If boy the whole family celebrate that day with great zeal and for a girl child wise – versa. After marriage woman has limited role to play in the business affairs of a narrow minded traditional family and hence her talents gets wasted. The Indian law has always been forceful in implying the privileges of Lady members of the society. But girl child can only be saved if the mentality of common man towards girl change.
