ABOUT DANNY
Ever wonder who’s behind all the commotion that makes your promo magic possible? Well, wonder no further! It’s time you got to know the Name Brand family. The newest member of the NBP team and our second in-house designer. He’s proficient at Photoshop, Illustrator, and putting up with everyone at NBP’s antics. We’re proud to have him. Now, onto the important bits… Who’s a better cook, your mom or grandma? Mom. What’s the last thing you fixed? The Photo Studio. (He means the one here in NBP and lemme tell ya, yeah, it needed fixing.) Who’s your favorite superhero? That’s tough, but definitely all of the MARVEL ones over DC. Could you survive in the wilderness for a month? Alone, no. What’s your favorite sounding word? “Royal,” when my wife says it. Lol. What’s something you thought you were good at but are actually quite bad? Table tennis.
Every Month Name Brand will highlight one of our amazing clients
we want to bring their efforts, message, and initiatives to you! This month, we highlight uinta brewing company.
ABOUT UINTA BREWING “Uinta Brewing Company is a craft brewery founded in 1993 in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA. The company produces a range of beers, naming them after Utah’s cultural and natural icons. As of 2016, Uinta was the 39th-largest craft brewery in the country.” Not only have we had the opportunity to create some fantastic custom product for them, but we also were able to build a brand new e-commerce site to house/sell said product - and we didn’t stop there. We warehouse and fulfil the orders that come through on the website! Talk about full service!
BOOST YOUR CREATIVITY T 3! PAR
There are literally HUNDREDS of ways you can customize your promo. Obviously, we can’t list them all – here are just a few of the more common styles of imprints and customization. Remember, here at Name Brand, we take pride in our ability to come up with creative and unique ideas that perfectly fit your brand, so although you shouldn’t limit yourself to these, it’s a great place to start!
leather patches
Leather patches and suede patches give garments the appearance of high quality. Leather patches are perhaps the best way to show via a clothing tag the quality of your brand. There are many options when it comes to the imprinting process on leather and suede. Here are a few to give your customers an idea of the possibilities: screen printing, foil stamping, hot stamping, embossing, de-bossing, color-fill, stitching and embroidery, metal plate or metal typography on leather.
embossing
Embossing refers to the creation of an impression of some kind of design, decoration, lettering or pattern on another surface like paper, cloth, metal and even leather, to make a relief. In regular printing or an engraving, plates are pressed against the surface to leave an imprint. In embossing however, the pressing raises the surfaces adding a new dimension to the object. Embossing thus makes things more beautiful than they originally are. The simplest of object can become pieces of art worthy of the highest praise by using a technique as easy as embossing.
3-D EMBROIDERY
3D embroidery is a style of embroidery where the stitched figures are raised from the surface of the work to form a 3-dimensional effect. The process involves putting down, typically, a layer of foam rubber larger than the intended shape on top of the target material to be decorated. The shape is then embroidered on top of the foam rubber in such a way that the needle penetrations cut the foam rubber around the periphery of the shape. When the embroidery is finished the excess foam rubber is weeded (pulled away or cleaned off) from the design area, leaving the underlying foam rubber shape trapped under the embroidery stitches resulting in a stumpwork effect. 3D embroidery primarily seen on leisure wear such as baseball caps, sweatshirts and jackets. Many times the designs are used to portray company logos or team mascots.
