The Jackson, Mississippi Flood of 2020

In February 2020, the city of Jackson, Mississippi experienced a historic flood comparable to the flood of 1979. The NAMI Mississippi State Office was in the flood zone and had to take immediate action to protect office equipment, furniture and document. Staff members, board members and volunteers pitched in to move items out of harm’s way. Thankfully, the floodwaters did not enter the building. Thanks to everyone who worked to help to protect the State Office from the natural disaster.
