Coed Dodgeball Tournament

Relive your middle school years, gather your pals, and compete to be the ultimate dodger. Teams can have up to 10 players on their roster. All games will be played by 6 players/team with at least 2 girls on the court. Each match will consist of 3 rounds lasting 10 minutes each. A single elimination tournament will follow pool play to determine seeding. Ages 16 & up with parent signature March 11 7:30-10:30pm Harward Recreation Center $35/team Register by March 9

Summer League Softball Men’s and Coed

If you’re looking for opportunities to exercise in the great summer outdoors, socialize, and maybe some healthy competition, then we welcome you to our league. Each league will have multiple divisions to meet the needs of each team, from the more experienced A division teams to the more recreational players that are just ready to have fun in the C division. Each team will play ten regular season games with a double elimination tournament to follow. Teams may play two games a week. Men’s - Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday Coed - Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday

Spikeball Tournament

Whether this is your first time, or you have been enjoying this growing sport, be sure to come try your hand in the fun at the Harward Rec Center. Matches consist of 3 games to 21 points (winning by 2). Each team will play a double elimination tournament following pool play to determine seeding. Ultimate Frisbee League

Our league is a low cost and exciting way to play Ultimate Frisbee, whether you’re an experienced player or an athlete looking to utilize your unique skills in a new game. Each team plays an 8-game regular season with a single elimination tournament to follow. Games are played 7 on 7 with a minimum of 2 girls (teams can play down with 5 guys if their girls are unavailable). Ages 16 & up April 15-July 17 Liberty Park League Fees: $95 by March 28 $130 by April 4 Players fees: Nampa Resident $10, Non-Resident $15

Don’t have a team? The Recreation Dept maintains a list of individuals who are looking for a spot on a team for each league. Traditions Tang Soo Do

This class teaches self-confidence, builds self-esteem, and improves balance, while establishing discipline and courtesy towards others. Participants will learn ageappropriate self-defense and weapons training. Please note that this class can be intense at times due to the nature of the activity and requires a relatively high level of focus and self-discipline. These classes are non-violent; sparring is optional.

Clothing and Equipment

Students should wear loose fitting clothing, such as sweatpants and a t-shirt. No jewelry or watches during class. A mouth guard and a groin protector cup (males) are recommended. Ages 13 & up Mondays & Wednesdays 7-8pm Harward Rec Center Member $35/month Non-Member $41/month $5 late fee applies on the first of the month

Tai Chi Classes

The beginning class covers the fundamentals of Tai Chi including basic movements, breathing, meditation, warmup form and an introduction on the Yang Style Short form. The intermediate class continues with movements, breathing, meditation, the Yang Short form, Yang Long form, and an introduction to push hands (Tai Chi sparring). Tuesdays Beginning: 6:30-7:30pm Intermediate: 7-8:30pm Harward Rec Center Member $30/month Non-Member $35/month $5 late fee applies on the 1st of the month

HRC Open Basketball

Half court play is available 7 days a week. Specific courts may be closed to allow for special events. Full-Court Play: “Pick-up” style games allow everybody an opportunity to play. The losing team makes way for other players waiting. Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays 5-10pm, Court 2 only

HRC Open Volleyball

All skill levels are welcome. The losing team makes way for other players so everyone can participate. Tuesdays 5-10pm Saturdays 12-7pm Sundays 11am-2pm Court 2

HRC Open Pickleball

Games are played in a “pick-up” style with the losing player or pair making way for others waiting. All skill levels are welcome. Monday-Friday 8am-12pm Thursdays 1-3pm (2 courts – East end) Novice Players only Saturdays 8am-12pm (2 courts – East end) Sundays 2-6pm (2 courts – East end)
