Uncompleated road and tunnel exist in AIOIYAMA green space. It was planned for the purpose of the traffic jam cancellation of neighboring roads, and construction began, however, with neighboring environmental changes, the need as the original purpose is weakening. In addition, the green space that a road goes along is precious natural environments in the city, and consciousness of environmental protection increases. The city stopped the construction, after that desided the road business abolition and proposed a policy "to maintain the whole green space including the uncompleated road as a park. My proposal is to change the road and tunnel into a community center in this park.

They have precious natural environments which are left while urbanzation progressed. In this area, we can see rare fireflies in summer time because of its good environments.

PURPOSE

Now, the city and citezens try to protect and grow this green space.

Musi c H a l l This hall is used as a place that the young people can feel free to perform. I think that it is good the building which opened out and which could drop in more willingly. On the other han d, I want to bring about the experience that the hall to draw from daily life into non-daily life. I insert the gap that gave a building the connection with the city to balance being encompassed by a hall and by the city.

Su n c he o n Ar t Center

The Old City of the Suncheon, surrounded by trails of the Suncheon Wall, is the city’ s most strategic urban development area. Despite having a variety of historical and cultural trails such as the Suncheon Wall, the Old City has been neglected due to rapid industrialization. We think that it becomes the key point, when we design the Art Platform, to determine the Suncheon Wall again by modern interpretation. We update it as an art wall. The traditional Suncheon Wall was closed and refused people from the outside. The Suncheon Art Wall is an attractive wall tran sformed in connection with the surrounding environment and streams of people. It links the whole building. And also it links indoor and outdoor ambiguously.
