RETURNING TO LIFE Architectural Design 2019.03-2019.06 Individual Work Location:Chengde City,Hebei Province,China
The study found that contemporary China's first- and second-tier cities have widespread problems of "defamiliarization" such as residential segregation and lack of neighbor relations. The design is based on two perspectives of space and society, and researches on spatial composition, scale, boundaries, etc. The purpose is to allow people to escape from the metropolis during the holidays to the surrounding third- and fourth-tier cities to relax. This design takes Beijing Siheyuan as the research object to make the holiday space more neighborhood spirit which have open complex, diversified integration, and spatial sense of domain, etc.It embodies the significance of the function of living, and then proposes new possibilities for the urban future residential living space mode.
The Change of Neighbourhood Relations
With the development of industry, urbanization is an inevitable trend of urban development. From courtyards to unit houses. From frequent contacts Location Relationship to social isolation. From spatial isolation to emotional isolation. The loneliness of contemporary young people has gradually increased.

Historical Relationship Between Chengde and Beijing
Since ancient times, Chengde has been a place where ethnic minorities live in concentrated communities in the north, and Beijing, which is adjacent to Chengde, is a metropolis where all ethnic groups merge. Beijing and Chengde have been closely related since ancient times.
Data Investigation and Analysis of Chengde City
Chengde is an important node connecting the Beijing-Tianjin-HebeiLiaoning-Mongolia with the unique location advantage of "one city connecting five provinces". The Mountain Resort and its surrounding temples in Chengde are among China’s top ten scenic spots. Location
Western Jin Dynasty The people of all ethnic groups in Chengde and the people of Youyan (now Beijing area) resisted the invasion of the Huns, Wuhuan, Xianbei and other foreign races, and jointly promoted Beijing's economic construction.
Eastern Jin and Southern and Northern Dynasties With the establishment of the Qianyan and Houyan regimes by Murong Xianbei, Beijing and the Chengde region became one again, and both were ruled by the Murong Tribe.
Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms Period
At this time, the ethnic minorities in the north became stronger and continued to enter the Central Plains. The Chengde area became their rear base for their southward advance; Beijing became their outpost for their southward advance. Both regions became places controlled by ethnic minorities, and the relationship became closer.

District Analysis
The Spatial Function of the Siheyuan
The Enclosed Relations of Beijing Siheyuan
As it is located in the north, the courtyard buildings are basically laid out in accordance with the north-to-south layout, and the buildings are arranged symmetrically along the north-south longitudinal axis, and each courtyard is independently enclosed. Although the scales of courtyards are different, they are all combined with courtyards as the basic unit. The houses on all sides are enclosed into a courtyard. The north house (also called the main house), the south house (also called the inverted house) and the east and west wing houses are enclosed by high walls to form an inward-looking courtyard.
Characteristics of Siheyuan
One of the biggest characteristics of Siheyuan is that there is enclose and disperse. Each room is independent of each other, and closed the door is your own private space. Open is a big family, with a common activity center, connected as a whole. The courtyard is the overall activity center. It is located in the center of the entire courtyard, "so that everyone can get in equally easily, so that everyone feels it is the center of the group." Double Hotel Unit

Privacy Analysis
The investigation found that as the number of people in the space increases, the privacy of the building gradually decreases. The design indirectly increases the number of people by increasing the public space and function of the hotel unit, thereby reducing the "indifference" between the neighborhood.
Seven-person Hotel Unit
Double Hotel Unit
Ten-person Hotel Unit
It is far away from the entrance and is more private and suitable for a family of four.
The main building has the widest space, suitable for holiday gatherings with more people.
In the center of the hotel, there are more entertainment facilities around, suitable for holding parent-child activities.
Farthest from the hotel entrance, best privacy, suitable for couples.
Four-person Hotel Unit
Fourteen-person Hotel Unit
Twenty-person Hotel Unit
Surrounded by plants, the landscape is beautiful, and there are many outdoor venues, suitable for young people to use for parties.
Close to the main entrance of the hotel, there are drinking bars, restaurants, and parking lots nearby. The transportation is the most convenient, suitable for company group building and other activities.
Community and Privacy
The lane blocks are closely connected with the city streets to the outside, constructing an organic connection system of public, semi-public, semi-private and private spaces, forming a centripetal order from the boundary to the inside. The psychological effects of different spatial environments will affect the individual The way of activities in the space has an impact.
Equipment
Let tourists stay away from the noise and pressure of the city, in order to build a real utopia to achieve the purpose of relaxation.
HISTORY GROW IN FUTURE Architectural Design 2019.07-2019.09 Team Work Location:Chongqing City, China
With the development of history to today, it is necessary to show traditional culture in a new look. The first thing to do is how to tell the traditional story in a new way, and to attract new participants and inheritors. Different from the media and other ways of understanding information as an observer, building a space so that everyone can be immersed and participate in it in an appropriate way. This way of experience and participation can be more real and easy to remember .

Lohas Space that Inherits Culture
In order to allow people to learn and activity in the building with a positive attitude, and to increase the opportunities for people to meet, listen, learn, and activity in the design, they constitute other forms or further communication backgrounds and starting points, so we gather here It is the prerequisite of all will. Only by gathering here first can we provide opportunities to make people feel happy.
Inheritance Space The cultural halls for different activities are distributed in every corner of the building complex, which symbolizes that the inheritance of culture should be spread in all aspects.
Stairs of History Here represents the inheritance of culture and the progress of civilization.
Plants can grow only when they have roots, and mature fruits will let the seeds drift away with the wind with their own memories. It is impossible for a building without culture as its foundation to exist for a long time. Even if a building with culture as its foundation is destroyed by irresistible factors, its charm will not disappear.
People review the local history and culture by listening to Sichuan Opera and Nuo Opera.
Growth of History People solidify the foundation of history through exchanges and learning of history and culture, so that culture can be better inherited.

Architectural Design 2020.March-2020.May Individual Work Location:Abu Dhabi, UAE
Design Specification
Outdoor thermal comfort conditions influence several choices that inhabitants make every single day — to walk to a local shop, take public transit, cycle, eat outside at a restaurant, talk with colleagues, friends, and neighbors or simply go to a park. One of the critical issues in designing outdoor spaces is considering human thermal comfort.Making people more comfortable allows them to enjoy and spend more time in outdoor spaces and be a part of a thriving city. Improved thermal comfort in public spaces not only results in less time spent indoors and consequently, reduced energy consumption but also valuable outcomes emerge such as wellness, enjoyment, and safety. It helps develop a sense of belonging, an identity for the design and increases peoples’ level of satisfaction. For an extreme climate such as Abu Dhabi’s, the harsh conditions felt across significant months of the year certainly reduce the feasibility of such external activities taking place. It restricts peoples’ choices and impacts subsequent health outcomes.
Abu Dhabi Historical Background
The city of Abu Dhabi is generally located on a T-shaped natural island wedged from the center of the west coast into the Persian Gulf. In 1968, a series of important infrastructure facilities including government public buildings, airports, desalination plants and power plants were put into construction. The rapid development of these cities has also accelerated the heat island effect in Abu Dhabi, leading to a series of problems that threaten the health of residents.
Heat Island Effect Prevention Measures
Urban heat islands can affect the structure and function of the ecosystem by affecting the environmental conditions of vegetation growth, thereby affecting the urban atmospheric environment, hydrology, soil, biological habits and the health of urban residents. As an important part of the underlying surface of the city, the ecosystem based on vegetation and water bodies affects urban temperature and moisture through vegetation growth and the evapotranspiration of soil, vegetation and open water bodies. Urban Underlying Surface

Site Analysis
Due to the Urban Heat Island Effect, the city center of Abu Dhabi is estimated to be several degrees Celsius warmer than the surrounding natural environment. Solar absorption and re-radiation from the surrounding context, including swaths of asphalt parking, existing surface materials, the heat released by automobiles as well as the anthropogenic heat released by cooling the buildings, and lack of air movement result in felt temperatures being much higher than the prevalent air temperature.
Duplicable——Modular
The modular design makes the building reproducible. It can be applied to a variety of venues.
Internal Space Analysis The modules are further processed spatially to make traffic smoother and better connect various areas.
The Benefits of Modularity 1.Removable 2.Easy to make and process 3.Easy to transport 4.Easy to place 5.Convenient for mass production
Module Split Each group of modules is composed of three functional blocks. They are square area, pool area, vegetation coverage area. The purpose is to better organically combine architecture and landscape.
Cool——Introduce Sea Water
Utilize the large specific heat capacity of sea water to cool the environment.

SOUL STATION Architectural Design 2018.09-2018.10 Individual Work Location:Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, China
A person's life is actually a life of continuous learning. No matter how old you are, the pace of learning will never stop. According to the preliminary investigation, there are many schools in the surrounding area, which lack public places for students to learn and relax. Therefore, the design set up a comprehensive library here for the elderly, children, and students to communicate and learn.People read and study here to achieve the purpose of purifying the soul.

Solution
The old people who always stay in the park need a place for indoor activities.
Mapping The site of this design is the Taiping Cultural Palace in Daowai District, Harbin. The cultural palace on the base has been abandoned for at least seventy years. The building is marked "Dangerous building, please do not approach". The traffic here is well developed. There is a bus station to the north of the base, a park to the southeast and schools all around.
Existing illegal buildings occupy sidewalks, which hinder people from walking.
Set up a rest area for the elderly
NO.2 C o l l e g e students lack an off-campus leisure spot.

NO.3
People often pass by the bus station next to them, but they don't stop here. It caused a waste of land.
Middle school students lack an off-campus study room. Set up study room
NO.4 The Harbin Taiping Cultural Palace has not been used for more than 70 years, and it is marked "Dangerous Buildings, Please Do Not Approach".
Children lack an indoor activity space.
Main Problem
Set up children's activity center
NO.5 The adjacent public security case handling center is still temporary housing.
Set up a public security office
There are many schools around the site, but there is a lack of bookstores. There is only a small bookstore in a remote a r e a n e a r b y, a n d t h e community can only offer people to buy books, and there is no space for people to read books.
Deciding the main function of the "interactive space" is a bookstore where people can read books. If you don't want to waste your life, you must study for a lifetime. People of all ages, occupations, and identities need to study.
Volume Generation
Determine the "L" shape of the building according to the surrounding city texture, and determine the main volume in the middle.
Detailed division of each functional block.
Create a stepped form that gradually increases from the park direction.
Place a stepped activity space. Set as glass material to meet viewing needs.
Each space determines the relationship between virtual and reality according to needs, enlarges the viewing area, and satisfies the line of sight communication.
Open skylights on the top to diffuse light to meet indoor lighting needs.
According to actual needs, adjust the ladder activity space to extend outside.
Keep the original European style of architecture. The finish adopts Doric cylinder groove.
