ABOUT My passion for design began with the ability to create spaces that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Design, harmony and the balance can help people, both emotionally and physically. Allowing myself to express my creativity, while providing functional solutions for people is a truly rewarding experience. NARESH.S

IDEATION AND CONCEPT
This project is mainly focused on the welfare of the community of solaseramani ,its a village in the state of tamilnadu. There are totally two main occupations in this village
AGRICULTURE
&
WEAVING
Cotton is supplied to the weavers by the farmers, and there is no other space PLACE : SOLASERAMANI DISTRICT : TAMILNADU COMMUNITY : MUDALIYAR
to share the cotton amongst the people nor any space left to store them. Temple is used sometimes to share and store the materials, but its insufficient and difficult.
OCCUPATION : WEAVERS & FARMERS
AREA PROGRAM : COTTON STORAGE : 12X6=72mt.sq RAW COTTON STORAGE : 12X6=72mt.sq COURTYARD SPACE : 3X7=21mt.sq TRADING SPACE : 6X5=30mt.sq SEED SEPERATION : 7X4=28mt.sq
Taking this as an oppurtunity, i came up with a program that can help the community with their occupation as well as to also provide a space where communities can gather for a cause and for diffrent activities such as seperating the seeds from the cotton, and also for other communal interactions such as development and welfare of the village , different methods in improving the occupation etc.

IDEATION AND CONCEPT Malleshwaram is a centuries-old residential area, known for its ancient temples. Sampige roadis lined with stores selling saris and kurta shirts, while the 11th cross flower market is stocked with rose garlends and strings of jasmine. It was indeed really intresting and was challenging to study the area with its people in the context and design for them.

MORPHOLOGICAL STUDY ON MALLESHWARAM MEMORABLE STREETS: The main streets in malleshwaram are sampige road and margosa road which comes from the trees on the road, apart from this there is a grid network of streets that are formed in a hierarchial manner. ie,cross roads -conservancy roads .
STABILIZERS: Transition from linear progression to centric emphasis a number of points or navels which exhibit a coherent geometry. The markets in Malleswaram becomes the major stabilizers for example fifth cross market and the flower market .Then there are the temples which become the strategic points.
POTENTIALLY INTERMINABLE SET PIECES: Repetitive elements of a building is boldly used such that one may associate with it.The repetitive elements along Sampige road that allows for association includes the temple fronts that opens out to the main streets and a sort of coherence in commercial shop fronts.
AMBIGUOUS AND COMPOSITE BUILDING: The tallest building in the area as of now is the mantri square mall Most buildings along the side of Sampige road are commercial in nature and hence not exactly public terraces .However the terraces on the residential blocks becomes the terraces for the general residential neighborhood.
NOSTALGIC-PRODUCING BUILDING INSTRUMENTS: Nostalgia producing elements which maybe elegant, vernacular or pop or in any other different ways. One major element is the sanki tank at the end of Sampige road .This has evolved with use and form over time and still allows for an emotional connect . Apart from this there are certain restaurants like CTR and long standing temples such as the venugopal temple and kadu malleshwara temple that evokes nostalgic memories.
