All Japanese may imagine Sakura (Cherry blossoms) when they think of Spring. It is not too much to say Sakura is Japanese spirits. I can't explain exactly well, but this is also one of a reason that sometimes people thinks like Sakura is represented a human life, not only blooming, also evanescent of the way of falling down. Japanese people have enjoyed Sakura from long long time ago as like a picture on the right below. At least people had started to admire Sakura beauty since 7 century as lots of poets were written about Sakura in oldest Japanese poetry collection, Manyo -shu. Spring has come and Cherry blossoms have full bloomed, Japanese people love to hold a Hanami Party under the cherry Picture from tree. Cherry blossoms have different National Diet faces in day and night, Night view is Library specially called Yo-zakura. (Yoru= night+ Sakura→Yo-zakura) For example I can't say which I prefer, maybe most of Japanese can't too. Day time Sakura face is pretty and also hold evanescent beauty because of Cherry blossom's live is only around a week. And Sakura face in night time isadded mysterious beauty hold gorgeous. Which do you like?Wish you all can catch the moment Japanese Cherry blossoms are full blooming when you are right here. Around Narita station, good spot for Hanami is at Narita-san Garden in Narita-san Temple. According to Cherry blossom forecast, Cherry Blossom will bloom around Tokyo area in the end of March to beginning of April.
