SDSU-Engineering and Interdisciplinary Sciences Building

Location: San Diego, CA. SDSU approached NSAD students to propose a new design idea for the Engineering, Physics, and Sciences department. The site at SDSU offered many opportunities for site circulation which was the main focus of the new design. The site analysis was mostly based on the circulation of the campus that surrounded the site, green spaces in the campus, the difference in architectural stules, and the density of the students according to where they spend most of their time.

Martin Special Needs School

Location: Long Beach, CA. Public Schools don’t offer students with Down Syndrome the time and dedication they need to further develop their senses. A specialized school that caters to their disability through natural lighting, comfort, and sensory spaces will help these students in their development and allow them to interact with society more successfully.
