NGIS - 2020 Year in Review

Navy Gateway Inns and Suites (NGIS) Sigonella is the installation’s premier lodging provider with 583 rooms and an average annual occupancy of 90%. We are located on both NAS I and NAS II and operate 24 hours a day year round.

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have placed great emphasis on the wellbeing of our guests and staff by taking daily actions to disinfect and sanitize all touch points while utilizing personal protective equipment and practicing social distancing. We implemented the use of sanitizing nebulizers as an extra measure to sterilize checkout rooms and high traffic areas. Being a hospitality service provider, NGIS is committed to providing hands-on service in order to ensure our Sailors’ mission readiness at all times.
