TREE OF LIFE SHADOW PUPPET JUNIOR EXECUTIVE DESIGNER
HERMES WINDOW DISPLAY GRAND HYATT & PACIFIC PLACE JAKARTA, INDONESIA WINTER 2016
The Tree of Life responds to the Hermès 2016 theme of la nature au galop. The installation was inspired by wayang kulit, an Indonesian traditional shadow puppet. The tree of life meaning comes from its symbolic aspects. Each element is presented in each window, telling different kinds of story with the same meaning of power and live. The main window represents ‘gunungan’ a Javanese tree of life, with leaves of the tree and birds represents the people and immortality. While horses represents hermes universe. The woman shows the life on feminine side while the men universe shows the life under water. The installations used raw MDF board & lights through a white fabric in creating the object shadows, dimensions, and depth, with a slow to moderate wind from the background to create movement of the living creature behind the mannequin.

BERSATU KITA TEGUH, BERCERAI KITA RUNTUH SENIOR EXECUTIVE DESIGNER
JADE BOUTIQUE WINDOW DISPLAY SENAYAN CITY, JAKARTA, INDONESIA SPRING 2017
Jade window display of spring 2017 responded to a political condition in Jakarta at the time. It was thought that through an artwork we could give message to to be aware of their surroundings and to show our concerns and thoughts about it. We want to emphasize the Indonesian motto of ‘Bhinneka Tunggal Ika’ (unity in diversity) using other sentence, which was ‘Bersatu kita teguh, bercerai kita runtuh’ translated as United We Stand, Divided We Fall. The use of brooms composition in the display symbolized unity, which formed by a broom explosion. Each stick in the broom represents many individuals that are different, and when it becomes one unit, it becomes stronger. A slight of white paint was given to all brooms to give a sight of elegant and class to the display.
