Welcome
Welcome and thank you so much for choosing Jolee Photography for your session! I’m very excited to capture this time for you and I know you must have many questions as we get ready for the big day. This booklet contains lots of information to prepare you, and fill you in on what to expect. Closer to the session, I will give you a call to finalize any details and schedule a clothing consultation.
In the meantime please review and sign the Session Agreement, complete the Client Information Form, and review and sign the Model Release.
About Your Session Clothing is essential in achieving a great portrait. About 1 week before your session I will contact you to set up a time for your clothing consultation. If you live too far to do this in person, I encourage you to take some pictures of your clothing choices to email me to review with you. Your session will last approximately 1-2 hours. If I feel I have gotten the shots I need, or your children are done, I will let you know. Otherwise I will keep shooting.
The day of your session, it is a good idea to pack a bag of some things you may need. Some suggestions are: 1. Spray bottle 2. Comb 3. Drinks 4. Snacks 5. Toys your children like 6. Tissues 7. Wipes 8. Diapers 9. All clothing and accessories you will be using
It is most helpful to me if you (parents) stay a distance from the shoot and don’t try and get your children to smile. This will usually result in your children looking out of the frame and not at the camera. Please allow me to try and gain their attention. I strive to make your photo session be as stress free, and enjoyable as possible. If your child(ren) is overwhelmed, I may suggest taking a few minute break for a snack or drink. If you have signed the model release look out for a sneak peek of your session, which I will post on my blog at www.joleephotography.com/blog within 24 hours of your session.
I will call you about 2 weeks after your session to schedule your ordering session. Please put aside 1-2 hours to review your images and place your order. This can be a difficult decision for most parents, and I am happy to help you as much as I can.
