Country music legend Lee Greenwood is sprinting towards the finish line of 2021, to put a wrap on what has shaped up as one of the highest-profile years of his career. Ahead in 2022 will be the January launch of his ‘40 Years of Hits Tour,’ which will find the multi-awarded country icon crisscrossing America to hit 40-plus concert dates already confirmed for the year, with more being added. “This announcement is only the beginning of what is shaping up to be a record year for us,” says Greenwood. “I have not done such a major tour in many years, normally it is one or two in a row and back home. This tour is going to have me performing at places from small to large, fair to festival, and everything in between.”

Mercury Nashville Recording artist Travis Denning celebrated a new milestone, with the news that his first-ever No. One hit single “After A Few” has officially been certified Platinum by the RIAA, with over One Million units of the song being consumed since its release. Denning was surprised by his team at Universal Music Group, Red Light Management and the RIAA following a performance at Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. Denning co-wrote “After A Few” with Kelly Archer and Justin Weaver.

“I’m blown away,” shared Denning. “This moment really only happens because of the team effort. My label, management, agent, radio, band and crew are all equally responsible for this milestone. Never would’ve dreamed I’d have a platinum song!” A native of Warner Robins, Georgia, Denning has accelerated his ascent from a chart-topping single, releasing his debut EP Beer’s Better Cold that debuted in the Top 20 of Billboard’s Country Albums chart. CMA, ACM and Grammy Nominee, Bobby Tomberlin, recently signed an extension to his songwriting contract with CURB Word Music. Tomberlin is entering his 27th year with the company, with over 100 songs recorded and the co-writer of the recent Willie Nelson/Barbra Streisand single, “I’d Want It To Be You”.

Artists who have recorded songs written by the accomplished song smith include Blake Shelton, Dolly Parton, Faith Hill, Kenny Rogers, Josh Turner, Dylan Scott, Rodney Atkins, Joe Nichols and the Oak Ridge Boys.
