Congrats NBVFD Fire Academy Grads
The Nassau Bay Volunteer Fire Department (NBVFD) is proud of the personal efforts members put forward to ensure the department is well qualified to provide top quality fire protection for Nassau Bay citizens. Using their personal time to take advantage of educational opportunities to acquire expertise is an example of those efforts and dedication.
Special congratulations are extended to all NBVFD 2020 graduates of the College of the Mainland Fire Academy. The COM Fire Academy curriculum is based on the
Texas Commission on Fire Protection (TCFP) Basic Fire Suppression Curriculum Manual, which includes classroom instruction and activities, firefighter skills training, and physical training. The classes are held two nights a week and every Saturday for 16 weeks. Congrats graduates on completing this course!
