St. Thomas Spring Out in the Park

Join St. Thomas the Apostle Episcopal School as they head outdoors to celebrate Spring in the Park. The inclusive and dynamic community of families and neighbors in Nassau Bay, League City, and the surrounding Clear Lake area will meet at St. Thomas and Howard L. Ward Park on Saturday, April 4th, from 11:00am to 4:00pm to play, celebrate, and connect.

General entrance is free, and participants can enjoy food and drinks, live music, and peruse the Vendor Village featuring wares from local shops, businesses, and organizations. Macaroni Kids League City – Clear Lake and Elite Care 24hr Emergency are sponsoring a free Easter Egg hunt throughout the day, with different times for kids by age group, and an opportunity to have your child’s photo taken with the Easter Bunny.

Another exciting feature of this festival is the first annual Pollinator Drone Race, where quadcopter drone pilots from all over Houston will compete on a time-trial drone obstacle course! With the support of H-sQUADron (a local chapter of the MultiGP Drone Racing), proceeds from the race will support the expansion of St. Thomas’ new Prairie Pollinator Pathway garden, which features native Texas plants to provide food, shelter and other resources to critical pollinator species such as butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds.

Kids Zone wristbands are only $5 to pre-order ($10 at the gate), and will give children access to unlimited fun on the Little Gym obstacle course, bounce house, glitter tattoos, or the chance to practice some engineering at the Play-Well TEKnologies interactive Lego station.

The goal of St. Thomas' Spring Out in the Park festival is to bring families and neighbors together to celebrate the spirit of community during a time of renewal and transformation.
