CosmoCaixa THE UNIVERSE New permanent exhibition at Barcelona Museum of Science
C O L L A B O R AT I O N INDISSOLUBLE 2019
01
Indissoluble collaborates in the refurbishing of the permanent exhibition at the Barcelona Science Museum by producing the exhibiting structures. In this project I have developed many crative and construction drawings, prototypes and final design applying unique and innovative solutions. I took an active part in assemby at the museum.
Vertical structures are see-through partitions, with coloured glazing enclosure or no enclosure at all. They are made out of 60 mm square steel sections, cut and welded. They act as a support for large vertical cut steel backlit panels and coloured glass, in green, red or blue according to the area where they are located (Kósmos, Evolution, Borders).
Exhibiting structures: The architecture is defined by disposing black textured paint vertical and horizontal structures. The combination of their different heights and sizes creates a rich exhibition landscape.
Horizontal structures are large platforms covered by black Fenix plates that support all the exhibiting contents: glass cabinets, stands, graphics, screens, etc. They are made out of 120x40mm and 40x40mm steel sec-

tions, cut and welded, and supported by thread feet that can be leveled. The structures are closed underneath by black painted steel sockets that disappear under the platform. An augmented physical environment that extends in a digital space through interactive technology and lightning effects.

SPARKLING SPACE Coca-Cola Olympic Games 2016
C O L L A B O R AT I O N Atelier Marko Brajovic August 2016
Project is designed for Coca Cola Company as a Fan Spot for Olympic Games 2016 in Rio de Janeiro. The installation is located in old factory in Praca Maua part of Rio de Janeiro.
An augmented physical environment that extends in a digital space through interactive technology and lightning effects. “Sparkling space” is designed by physic simulation in generative software, the effect of bubble explosion will be reproduced on large scale. Several dimensions of plastic inflated balls, will emerge from the bar and distribute all over the space, organizing the space, the paths, introduce the public to a bar, attractions and the main stage.
In this collaboration I took part on each phase of the project which was concept (I developed 3d model, renderings, diagrams, plans, presentation for the client), executive project and also I was at the construction site during the montage. Creating a surprising and immersive installation where the public is introduced in an icon and unique sensorial experience. One strong and photogenic formal gesture as a clear and suggestiv design strategy driven by a site specific artwork.
02
Bubble installation is made out 500 transparent acrylic balls fixed on the metal grid and illuminated.

FA L L I N T O T H E D E P T H S OF THE EARTH Shenzhen Sience and technology museum, installation C O L L A B O R AT I O N INDISSOLUBLE 2020
Travel into the different layers of Earth and live a volcano eruption.
Sky way: the circular staircase leading to the entrance of the installation is filled with projections representing the sky.
An immersive space where children and parents go together on a trip from the crust to the interior of the Earth, from cold air to hot air, from the known to the unknown. The installation gives the experience of touring through all layers of the earth until reaching the inside of a volcano.
Smoke entrance: at the entrance of the installation there’s a steam curtain emulating the gas emission from a volcano eruption that’s covering the land around the volcano. Crust - Earthquake: a soft platform, where visitors can sit or stand, is simulating an earthquake with shaking movements. This provides children and parents the experience of living a real earthquake.
The installation has a large sloped organic shape where visitors enter on the highest point to finish their visit on the lowest point. One side of this structure is a glazed wall allowing sight from the outside and mirror reflecting from the inside.
Crust - Fossiles: a big puzzle installation where children must create the shape of a real dinosaur by joining the different bone shaped pieces embedded on the floor.
There are six main areas in this installation that go from the outside to the inside of the Earth.

Mantle - Lava game: Led screens on the floor represent lava that visitors cannot touch. Therefore they must only step on safe spots on the floor to cross over the lava. Magma chamber: The last cupula of the installation is a huge projecting space where lava images are displayed to create the illusion of being inside of a volcano. From this chamber visitors exit the installation. In this collaboration I have developed a general idea of an arragement of the space, 3d model, renderings, diagrams, presentation for the client.

ROBOTS INDUSTRY Shenzhen Sience and technology museum, installation
C O L L A B O R AT I O N INDISSOLUBLE 2020
The space is invaded by a mesh of squares and cubes creating an atmosphere of a living tecnologic organism. In fact, entering this space is like entering the inside of a robot itself.
Timeline - One side of the area is covered with an illuminated glass wall displaying robots to explain the history of robotics. Industrial robots - Backlit cube shaped displays with different heights show examples of industrial robots. Service robots - A futuristic catwalk with walking robots on it shows the benefits service robots provide to humans.
The movement of objects, the reflections of the surfaces, the lights and transparency of materials help to lose perception of the actual space and transfer visitors to another galaxy.
Wearable devices - Backlit cube shaped displays show different sorts of wearable devices that help us in multiple fields.
Entrance: A large backlit wall with one only door in the middle is the main access to the space. A detection sensor opens the sliding door to let visitors enter a magical futuristic space.

ROUNDTEN PAVILION Expo Mido Milan 2020 C O L L A B O R AT I O N INDISSOLUBLE 2020
Indissoluble was ask by Roundten modern eyewear company to develop a proposal of pavilion for Mido Eyewear Show Milan 2020. Unfortunately, beceause of Covid-19 pandemic a fair was canceled, but developed project and design will be used for another fair in the future.
The idea for the aesthetics of the project were light reflections and simple geometric figures referring to the company’s logo. Modern reflective materials, transparency, LED programmed in montion lights in order to get the impression of being in the future. URBAN TECHNOLOGY
The main idea for the proposal was to develop a modern, futuristic capsule with a tunnel shape, where the latest Roundten glasses collection will be officially presented. That is why we decided to divide the space into three parts to get space for the entire program requested by the client.

PAVILION O3 Docol Expo Revestir 2017
C O L L A B O R AT I O N Atelier Marko Brajovic January 2017
For the Docol pavilion at Revestir 2017, Atelier Marko Brajovic was inspired by the trio oxygen molecule O3. As the same name says, the molecule composed of three atoms of oxygen which evokes our shape of the pavilion and also the contents. A research and development laboratory.
soap bubbles and textures of various animals. The domes modulated with this biomimetic inspired texture and synergistic constructive technique, evoke constructions of parametric advanced architecture and advanced constructive systems. A cutting-edge architecture, a laboratory of constructive technology, a futuristic habitat, a laboratory of vocational thinking. The path is linear, passing between the spaces through flexible dividers in a fluid form, but with a differentiated characterization of each room (atom).

At the level of the architecture the three atoms appear in the same original chemical configuration of the molecule, in our case constructed by hexagons programmed by code Voronoi; A modulation of the geodesic dome that in nature happens in
In this project I worked on conceptual part including presentation for the client. I developed 3d model done with rhino and grasshopper, rendering, diagrams and plans.

UNEVEN GROWTHS Tactical Urbanisms for Expanding Megacities Exhibition at Museum of Modern Art in New York, MoMA C O L L A B O R AT I O N RUA Arquitetos May 2014
In 2014 I participated in exhibition project for MoMA, the proposals of the city of Rio de Janeiro. The exhibition took place 22 November 2014 at MoMA in New York. Unevenness is a dominant feature of Rio de Janeiro’s urban landscape, making it exemplary of Brazil’st reputation as an unequal country. Extreme topography confronts the city with nature and the division between rich and poor is articulated in asfalto (official city) and morro (favelas). Yet, Brazil’s income distribution has drastically changed during the last seven years—the lower middle class has increased by 40 million people and now represents the largest segment of the population. In Rio, 60 percent of favela residents now belong to this emerging middle class. As Rio becomes a middle-class city, the government and prevailing economic system are transforming the city into a setting for market-driven development.
07
However, the discontent of large portions of the population—demonstrated by recent protests against the FIFA World Cup and the 2016 Olympics—expresses the gap between the aspirations of an emerging consumer class and the lack of urban equality. The cariocas (Rio’s inhabitants) have always found ways to appropriate and subvert their built environment through puxadinhos—add-ons to existing structures made from leftover materials. Inspired by puxadinhos, the proposed Varanda Products accommodate the logic of the market in order to transform it. As an interface between individual and community, the varanda offers a middle ground for negotiation, gathering, and play. Varanda Products is a catalogue of everyday consumer products that promotes city-making as a collective endeavor bringing together diverse social milieus. Insinuating itself everywhere, Varanda Products encourages smallscale urban entrepreneurship with the

openness and playfulness typical of the carioca way of life. Zooming out from Rio de Janeiro’s postcard view another reality appears: the contrast between the rich and the poor as expressed in the confrontation of asfalto and morro—the city built on asphalt and the city that grew informally in the hills. Proposed Varanda Products are replicated across neighborhoods: covered walkways and escalators connect outdoor spaces; water collectors and reservoirs provide sustainable local water supplies. Implementation of these urban goods ranges from the domestic to the urban scale, bridging spatial divides Varanda Products promote the carioca way of life, bringing nature and the city, the individual and the community closer together. In a world dominated by the logic of the market, users decide how the city evolves; it is up to them to choose a better, more balanced future.

A R C H I T E C T U R E C R E AT E D F O R N AT U R E Renovation of Portbou threw nature interventions
ACADEMIC PROJECT Final Master Thesis ETSA Barcelona October 2017
This project was submitted for the completion of the ‘Contemporary Project’ specialization in the Masters in Advanced Architectural studies at ETSAB is focused on architecture created for nature; in greenhouses and shadehouses.
purpose of the Urban Greenhouses is not only to act as a sustainable solution to the current issues in cities but to connect people with nature. Portbou, a typical border town between France and Spain has entered a depressive loop. Considered by some as a cul de sac of the territory or the periphery of the country, the town suffers abandonment and some of its most prominent houses now resent a decrepit and ghostly aspect. The only thing that remains the same is the nature; the mountains, the sea, and the wind, but the scenery that surrounds them has changed completely.
Nature has always been a constant source of inspiration within my architectural practice, prompting an ongoing research about the relation of architecture and nature. The purpose of this thesis is to show that with both a new perspective on architecture for nature and a common known way of building, lost and poor spaces in the cities and towns have the potential to be revitalized with greenhouses and urban agriculture techniques.
08
The project proposal, a Culinary centre in the form of contemporary Greenhouse and Urban farm, is more than just creating an answer to production food demands, is creating a pleasant environment to live. As triggers for urban revitalizing process-
This type of architecture intends to focus on energy reduction, making use of nature’s cycles and balancing agrarian and urban functions. The

es, an Urban Greenhouse is a place that can cross people from a different background and with a different daily rhythm. This creates a diverse -more natural- environment in which various functions of the city are connected: living, studying, working and eating will be all in close contact with nature. Sustainability and nature are therefore an essential theme of the thesis. Themes such as close productions processes in the form of hydroponic plantations, energy reduction processes and the use of nature’s cycles, awareness of nature’s material (food), water and energy cycles, and new architectural forms based on nature´s demands are revised throughout this research. The latter follows the idea of designing a project that could create a beautiful symbiosis between people and nature, and find a new activity for the abandoned village of Portbou.

C O L L A B O R AT I O N Atelier Marko Brajovic October 2015
For us OCA presents its cosmical geometry and cosmogonical energy as a house of all the houses, a universal symbolic Niemeyer architecture that transcend in a performative and public space. More than designing an exhibition, we pretend to create a unique public experience in a Francesco Vezzoli universe. The public is invited to discover the borderless environment, as a free circulation layout seduced by phenomenological efects. A polyphonic space made out of sounds and lights. Physically and conceptually the space is dematerialized through reflection and refraction weaving through the
09
OCA by lasers and LED panels, smoothed in a misty atmosphere. The existing columns and furnitures are dressed in mirrors, deconstructing the space and enhancing the construction of a new light patterns. That “ephemeral organism” made out of lights, works as a dialogue between the architecture and the artworld. OCA becomes a new scenario, with a temporary clubbing mood, an endless party, a narrative that never starts and never ends. For this exhibition I developed concept including presentation for the client. I worked on 3d model, renderings with post production (including light design), plans.

ETFE PAVILION Nature Market BCN
ACADEMIC PROJECT ETSA Barcelona May 2017
The main objective of this project was to discover the abilities of chosen material and use it/test it in a pavilion project. As we have decided to work with ETFE, the chalange was to incorporate its properties and advantages such as lightness, water resistance, low maintenance and design freedom, in a tension based structure.
After various tests on physical models, we have created a base module for the pavilion - the cone that works with tension and will be able to show the beauty of the material, while giving us the freedom to incorporate parametric design possibilities in a design of the shape and roof. Using computer programming such as grasshopper we were able to create irregular heights in the pavilion, making the space original and intresting. Simple, foldable walls work to divide the space of the pavilion into three functions: fresh nature market, cafeteria and action hall - conference center.

PLASTIC BAGS AND CHAIR Exhibit on “Unique Youngstars” 2015
DESIGN PROJECT Spoga Gafa fair August 2015
The project was presented on “Unique Youngstar 2015” competition, which was a part of SPOGA+GAFA trade fair in Cologne. The project started focusing on the problem of homelessness. I was working under the Queen Victoria bridge in the historical part of Madrid. Under this bridge groups of homless are living and they are trying to adapt the place to their own needs. After deep analysis of the place I invented a new material - plastic bag mat, which are woven plastic bags. Next I started to experiment on simple examples, such as a chair. The advantage of this idea is that the homeless people can do it themselves, they only need simple instructions. With plastic bags architecture, we can make places more colorful, warm and safer.
12
Plastic bags chair is completely made from recycled plastic bags cut into strips and woven. Chair’s structure is a typical steel frame. Colours are inspired by the tones of the garden and spring. Woven and lace bags have a lot of possibilities. Is a cheap, not heavy and ecological solution for furnitures in garden and home. Laced bags are strong, on the chair can sit a person on weight max 110 kg. The bags stripes are installed on a chair without any glue, they are connected only by konts. Chair has countless combinations of colours and patterns. Is soft and comfortable, because between two layers of plastic bag mat are pieces of some plastic bags.
“As we all know the answer to the problem of plastic waste is less reliance on plastic. And as we all also
M A D R I D // B A R C E L O N A // C O L O G N E
- 92 -
know, without political intervention that will take generations. And so what to do with the waste plastic? One option is weaving strands of plastic, a process which produces a very robust, hard-wearing and durable material which is currently widely used for bags, waster paper bins and the like. Warsaw born, Barcelona based architect Natalia Winnicka has expanded the scope of the material, and demonstrated its resilience, with a low seater chair which combines neatly formed steel tube with woven plastic. And nothing else. No glue and so no extra environmental impact. Although having checked out Natalia’s website we must admit to being more excited about the woven plastic hammock than the chair….”

FREELANCE WORK Between years 2014 - ongoing
I would like to present various works made in recent years in the field of 3d modeling, rendering, post production and hand drawing. All selected examples were completely made by me for orders of various clients. Models were made in Archicad / Rhinoceros / Grasshopper(depend of the project) and for rendering I used Artlantis Render Studio/Twinmontion usually. An important part is post-production by creating climate and kind of story in my images.
