JOIN US! MCS was instrumental in shaping me into who I am today, not to mention the place where I met my beautiful wife and lifelong partner (fellow MCS Alumni) Brittany. The foundation MCS built in my life both academically and spiritually influenced my decisions and life path throughout high school and college and well into my athletic career. The MCS teachers and program are second to none, and the educational experience they offer cannot be underestimated. It’s clear that MCS is on track to become the #1 private Christian school in Southern California, and we hope you join us in supporting this incredible school that raises up Difference Makers for the Kingdom.

What is the MCS Annual Fund? MCS is blessed by an amazing partnership with parents, grandparents, alumni, and friends who support our mission of “building a firm foundation through Christ-centered education” through Annual Fund donations. Tuition covers 95% of an MCS student’s education, as we seek to keep MCS affordable for as many Orange County Christian families as possible. Annual Fund donations fill in the gap! Annual Fund contributions are a critical part of the MCS operating budget, ensuring that students receive the highest caliber of academic and spiritual preparation possible. Funds help pay for technology upgrades, high quality professional development, competitive salaries to attract and retain our remarkable teachers, scholarships and financial aid, new curriculum adoptions, dynamic enrichment programming, and much more.

Every donation adds up to create an MCS experience that is like no other - all made possible by the Lord’s provision extending through YOUR generosity.

How are Annual Fund donations spent? • Technology upgrades within our 21st century learning environment • High quality professional development • Competitive salaries to attract and retain our remarkable teachers • New curriculum adoptions • Enrichment programming support (arts, athletics, STEM, and more) • Financial aid/scholarships for qualified Christian families • Capital and programmatic enhancements (not related to Bright Future)
Is the Annual Fund part of the Bright Future Campaign? No. MCS Annual Fund donations are entirely separate from our Bright Future building campaign. Annual Funds are immediately leveraged to make a direct and immediate impact on students during this academic year. We look forward to sharing news of our Bright Future Phase Two construction soon!
“I’m thankful for MCS teachers and staff who are passionate about nurturing the God-given potential that lies within each student, whether spiritually, academically or socially.” –Heather Harrison, Interim Head of School

When Does The Annual Fund Take Place? MCS PARENTS - SEE INSERT FOR DETAILS ON OUR FIRST-EVER PARENT GIVING WEEK NOV. 18-24 “7 Days of Giving and Gratitude” Our goal is to receive all donations by December 31 to ensure immediate impact within the current academic year. However, the MCS fiscal year runs through June 30, so your support is welcome at any time. All donations to MCS are tax-deductible, as allowed by law.
Matching Gift Announcement Exciting news! Three MCS families have joined forces to create a $50,000 Annual Fund matching gift opportunity, which means that for every dollar you donate, MCS receives TWO dollars for student programming this year! These Mission partners have graduates from MCS and are giving back out of gratitude for the impact on their children’s lives.
“
So happy to support MCS as it provided a strong foundation in both faith and academics with an individual focus for each of our two children. We couldn’t have made a better choice for our family!

Why Is 100% Participation Important? 100% family participation helps MCS accomplish strategic enhancements that immediately benefit all students. It also demonstrates to outsiders that our school community is 100% unified in mission and purpose. When foundation donors are considering their support of MCS, a key influencing factor is participation.
