Modernism Modernism is the term used for a cultural movement t h a t s h ow s t h e progression of art, architecture, music, design and literature created in the 19th century. The movement was of artists and designers who were against and rebelled traditional methods and the ideology of realism. They believed in the progression of art as it had become to outdated with the new economic, social and aspects of the world changing. Many movements were created during modernism such as

Postmodernis Post-modernism was the movement that followed Modernism and greatly changed a rt, a rc hi t ecture, design, fashion and literature. It was a movement that c on t ra d i c t s t h e ideas,trends and styl es that had been created by Modernism. Pieces of art that are considered to be postmodern include collage, simplification, pop-art an d art that is very radical, experimental and exaggerated. The collages were one of the main parts of Post-modernism.

They reject the ideas of Modernism the most as they are unstructure d and have a chaotic style, they are created in different ways with some incorporating random brush strokes or various found materials.

Picasso Typefac This is a Typeface based on the artist Pablo Picasso’s work. Picasso was the creator of the cubism movement along with artist Georges Braque. Cubists challenged conventional forms of representation such as perspective they did this by creating their paintings by fracturing objects into geometric forms.
