Are we there yet? Every collection tells a story . . .


On a typical outing the car was loaded with a picnic, extra jumpers and shoes and entertaining games to stop the boredom.



‘Are we there yet’ We’d say from the backseats as we got bored of sharing the CD player.



Mum would always bring sweets for the journey, our favourite was Rowntrees fruit pastels.



Dad being scared by what he thought was a statue, but turned out to be an actor.



Falling out of the seat on a rapid simulator, because not holding on felt so much more exciting!





Getting stuck in a maze for more than an hour and realising that our sense of direction wasn’t as advanced as we had thought.



Feeding the deer through the open window of the car...


suddenly became a contortionist act as it’s antlers rammed through the passenger window.




Rolling around laughing at my little brother as he was chased round and round the car by a bee.





‘Look out Dad there’s a big monkey on the roof!’


Then it tried to yank our aerial off while peeing on the wind screen.


Fish and chips was always a great end to a family day out but there was never enough sauce, good job Mum bought supplies in tupperware.
