/ Project description / Located in I ncline Village, Nevada the landscape of this residence includes an entr y pond garden, a pool deck , spa area, pick le ball cour t and a front garden surrounding the entr y to both the main house and the pool house.
/Planting concept/ - gradient The planting palette is based in seasonal color gradient. The orientation of the gradient goes both parallel and perpendicular to the middle axis dividing the site. With a variety of accent plants and tex tures the gradient goes from darker reds towards the main road to a light yellow and greens near the house with a pink zone accentuating the pedestrian entr y to the residence.

/ Project description / This tech campus located in San Carlos, California is a 3 phase projec t that includes a variety of spaces in different scales: an orchard, a park , k inetic quad, outdoor cafe spaces; and a programmatic variety including: Recreational lawn, Yoga decks, bbq area, outdoor amphiteather, installation space, among many others.
/ Studies / The projec t concept consist of two strands. The landscape strand charac terized by organic, sof t materials, blurr y edges and a thicker landscape palette; and the urban strand charac terized primarily by hardscape, defined edges, and a struc tured landscape palette. One of my tasks for this projec t was to design, develop and detail the outdoor furniture charac ter of the projec t related to the two strands. In this case showing the many studies done to determined the landscape strand benches, that are made of wood with details of metal and var y in scale along the projec t.

1200 Van Ness is a mixed used projec t located in the Bay Area, San Francisco, CA. A residential tower, retail spaces and a hospital all sharing two common landscape spaces, a ground level entr y landscape and an amenity deck on the 6th floor that includes: outdoor restaurant and cafe spaces, fitness deck , a running track , townhouses yard and firepit deck area.

/ Studies / For this projec t I was in charged of designing, developing and detailing the level 6 amenity deck , from concept, 3d studies to cad details; also developing the materials and planting palette to a design development level.

/ Project description / A conceptual projec t located in Napa, CA. This projec t was inspired on the Gemini constellation. Each star from the constellation is represented with a healing stone related to Gemini. The Corinthian columns and palm trees as requested by the client, represent the twin galaxies that live within the constellation.
The centered line of spheres represented the aligned chak ras. The crown chack a is overlapped with the unifying star of the twin constellation, and surrounded by an abstrac t representation of the alchemist symbol of mercur y, planet related to Gemini. The root or fire chak ra is represented by a fire pit space in the south por tion of the projec t. The side terraces are mirrored on purposed resembling the strong similarity of the twins. - landscape architecture -

/ Project description / Tasman East is a mixed used projec t located in Santa Clara, CA. I t is divided in three projec ts: A half acre public park , a residential towers with retail in the first floor, and an assisted living tower. The Landscape por tion includes in the groundlevel: A playground, an off-leash dog area, two Por te Cochere, a Greenway, recreational lawn and street scape adjacent to both towers. And on struc ture: three amenity decks in the residential tower, and two amenity decks in the assisted living one.

Level 8 amenity deck for residential tower
/ Description / The biggest amenity deck of the projec t is located in the level 8 and include: a pool/spa/cold plunge area, recreational lawn, BBQ areas, Bocce cour ts, outdoor fitness area and private gardens for the units in this floor. In this page you can see the materials plan and intention and in the previous page some of the on struc ture details.

Level 3 amenity deck This amenity deck func tioned as a viewing/transition garden that also included private deck spaces for the unit in the level. The intention was to create terraces to give privac y to the units while creating seating spaces and enough planting depth for the landscape. - landscape architecture -
