Week 1 - Grasshopper sketches
FIG.2
FIG.2
The first algorithmic sketch task introduced us to the basics of Grasshopper and Rhino, which we will continue to experiment with and use throughout the project. The first task consisted of creating curves in rhino and lofting them using grasshopper.

By changing the value of the X and Y coordinates using number sliders in grasshopper, I was able to create interesting shapes and trial designs using computer-aided design.

Week 2 - Grasshopper sketches For this weeks sketchbook task I created a surface with a series of pipes extruding from the shape. Initially these pipes were vertical, however by changing the surface’s tangents and experimenting with numbers inputted into the multiplication component, the pipes now vary in direction. The task allowed me to explore varying shapes.

Week 3 - Grasshopper sketches
This week’s algorithmic sketch consisted of designing a paneled façade with multiple styles of coloring for RMIT’s Building 80. The assignments allowed me to experiment with changing parameters, initial curves and alter Building 80’s façade design.
