COSY SKANDI

Cosy Skandi is a running trend for Dunelm as it brings in a wide customer base as it is minimalist yet stylish and affordable which in turn makes the trend timeless. There have been many briefs connected with this trend from bedroom to living room, kitchen dining and bathroom... Here shows some of the sets that I have designed for SS15 taking the design from brief to build and finalising the finishing shots for the catalogue.

Graceful Glamour

TREND SHOTS

Trend shots show the main themes for the season and showcase the most popular predicted trends for SS15, this years trends were: Purity, Graceful Glamour, Global Luxury, Salvage Retro and Cosy Skandi...

Global Luxury

Purity The image on the right shows purity trends with a clean and muted colour pallet. The image on the top right is Graceful Glamour with grand panelling and a distressed texture to the wall; contrasting high quality with shabby chic The image on the bottom right is Global Luxury which is a trend full of rich colours and a Moroccan and ethnic feel.

SS15 SHOTS This layout shows some of the sets I designed for a selection of ranges from a modern contemporary bedroom to something slightly more traditional with a boudoir feel.

As there are so many different styles of furniture it means that the sets within the studio have to be interchangeable and are continually changing which means I have the challenge of coming up with different feels and looks for each range which is reflected in the images that are produced as an end result.

This layout shows a collection of the visuals I did alongside the Director of the company Justso as a freelance visual designer. The top right image shows the terrace for the great Ormond Street Hospital benefit ball; the brief was to create a winter wonderland covered in glistening snow and twinkling fairy lights to take the guests to Neverland. The bottom right was for the Disney Princess Christmas window for Harrods; the brief I was provided was based on the Disney version of Rapunzel from the film Tangled by recreating a scene from the film with her main character sitting in the tower looking over the mountains to see the lanterns in the distance. The top left image was a concept for the Harrods store in Gatwick airport and was for a Christmas gifting display; the aim was to recreate the famous main store food hall in a small outlet store. The bottom left images shows the main widow display comprising of a Chinese dragon which was for the Harrods Chinese New Year window.
