I’m enthusiastic to learn about different cultures, and about the way people interact with space in physical and phsychological ways. In my work, I aim to create meaning for users through building form, space, and installation, and to demonstrate this in different ways with illustration. I’m hoping to find my own stand towards architecture through my travels, observational experiences and exploring architecture from different points of view.

09 HARBOURFRONT PARK recreation of new landscape During my exchange semester at Chu Hai College of Higher Education in HongKong. I was assigned to work on a large scale project based on practical aspects, sustainable design , urban connectivity and to solve design problems. In this project the main challenge is to deal with unusable space under the highway across the entire site, the existing underground tunnel, to create a connection between the site, programs and how it would bene�it Hong Kong citizens. The harbour front park is located in Wan Chai District , Causeway Bay, Hong Kong. The park is designed for different use of activities including, swimming pool , �itness centre , restaurant , cross harbour swimming and the dragon boat festival which will occur once or twice a year. The concept of the design is to draw a huge contrast to the existing urban fabric by using various sizes of circular shape to generate a continuous landscape. Each size of the circles determined by the area of each program as some required large area and some only required small area. Most of the circles are open for ventilation, natural light penetration and mainly to provide green open space for the citizens. Also Carefully designed for disablility person and small children. Each circles will be shifted in different levels and some overlap to create more complexity and to maximize its potential of the under highway space. With its own unique design, the park will encourage people to explore around the space and with many program possibilities open for all age citizens.

03 A PLACE TO SMASH an alternative way for recycling To escape from the usual activities in Nana is to provide the safest place for people to act aggressively having fun breaking, throwing and smashing bottles both day and night. Seeing people collecting bottles to smash more. Even the idea of the design proposal seems very simple and practical, it is very fascinating on various levels, for its degree of 'naturality' in the geometry and effects, but also for its unusual relationship with people's activities, tapping on a slightly 'dark' psychological side through the idea of 'violent' release. However, the innovative device is to provide an alternative way of recycling in a fun way The design allowed people to actually enter the space to smash bottles wearing given protective clothes. The programs separated into 4 platforms which are observation deck where people can interact to the urbreed device from the outside, a place to smash which is a whole �loor given for smashing, sea of glass where the sharp edges of broken glass has been smoothened by hidden rock tumbling machine and lastly the recycling station where these broken glass turned into new materials depending on an individual adaptation.

Overall, this arti�icial space is simulating water from solid matter that has its own �luidity similarly to the property of water that is liquid. The self-organized and unpredictable movement of glass. The self sustain structure also has its own natural life cycle which refers back to the meaning of �lourishing

04 RIAD LILJAMIE dwelling design Riad Liljamie or Riad for everyone aims to create an affordable community where everyone is equal especially in living conditions. The project reintroduces the identity of the old medina , traditional courtyard houses in an alternative way. Each units are hidden behind thick walls similar to the old medina and gets fragmented inside the aggregation which completely different from the simply look from the outside. Units are stacking up to three levels. The special feature for this community is to combine the traditional Morrocan house and modular design. Therefore each household will have their own individual courtyard. There are three different type of units from two to four bedrooms. All the residential units started from second �loor to fourth �loor according to numbers of each household. The courtyard fountain appearance turns into the spatial circulation, where water circulate from the highest �loor, within each �loors and down to the ground as a connection. Different sounds of water running, dropping through corridors and functioned to cool down the space and for the refreshment. However the advantage of having water running through the whole community which will solve heat issues due to the hot climate and improve on ventilation.

06 SCATTERED HOSTEL reconnecting human with nature Focusing on the subjective perception of time and how can it be in�luenced by the environment so I intended to design a place where people can reconnect themselves with nature by using architectural intervention as a mean. Designing outdoor spaces including campsite, shower, kitchen, �irepit, resting and meditation space. Each spaces located far from one to another which allow people to wander around to explore part of the village. For example, one sided mirror is simultaneously re�lects the surrounding also allows the user to be hidden and exposed at the same time. The existing rocks as shower platform and a wood plank stick in the side of the slope for people to bath in the steam.

Natural leftovers of massive tree stumps is used for camping platform to create a �lat surface on the slope. The ground surface is adjusted according to human ergonomic with a large tinted glass as a shading device to become a resting space.

The �irepit is built below ground level to avoid the strong wind and the shelter on ground level become �irewood storage. In conclusion each intervention space comes with its own quality by taking advantage of the landscape resources thus enhance it. Allowing people to expand their motions in much longer time or to slow them down and most importantly to reconnect us with the nature.

BUILDING SERVICE Environment Technology and Building System Design I Inside-Out Of ice Building is designed by Nicolas LaisnĂŠ AssociĂŠs. It is open-concept, bio-climatic of ice building to with beautiful green-layered outer facade that allows the users to circulate and enjoy the green space throughout the building. The Of ices With Terraces plan brings the circulation passages normally found in the core of a building to the outer facade. This eco-conscious approach not only creates healthful of ice space and reduce the congested areas.

I have selected this project to study this of ice building which help me understand the practical knowledge of building structure and building service at an approximate size of 200 square metres with a proper calculation for each service system and speci ications including furnitures for the interior space.

08 SAPHANKWAI and the future of Sapankwai

The current looking of Saphankwai community urban situation in Bangkok. Nowadays Saphankwai is full of old and abandoned shophouse buildings along the mainroad underneath BTS skytrain which can be developed into commercial or residential building that can create more value for this community. In such a high density area there is many street vendors set along the footpath which dif�icult for the pedestrain to walk. Moreover it is very congested by public bus and private vehicles especially during the peak hours.

On the right handside is the future development proposal for Saphankwai community. The abandoned shophouse is now changed into tall residential or commercial of�ice building and more green openspace both on ground level and the rooftop which can be occupied as a garden, restaurants and even to install the solar panel energy. Also providing an organized space for the street vendors and create a seperated lane for moterbikes and public buses from other vehicles to reduce the traf�ic congestion.


09 FEZ EL BALI and the future of Fez El Bali

Fez El Bali is an old town with massive long forti�ied walls and labyrinth streets. Medina of Fez is the world’s largest car-free area. However the major atmospheric pollution mostly caused by chemical use, tannery burnt, leather dust, waste burning and the toxic air is being trapped within the urban area. People also disposed waste into the river nearby which affect the ecosystem in the river. In addition the water in this river which now contaminated is connected to many fountains around the city mostly undrinkable.

On the right handside is the future planning to solve the current environmental issues. Vertical structure could provide wider space on the streets and could support much larger number of inhabitants.In addition, the toxic air and bad smell from industrial activity will be blown to the outer part of the city. Add trees barrier surround the production site to absorb polluted air. This barrier help �ilter the toxic air that release to the surroundings area. Apply water remediation system and using incineration system for the waste treatment.

10 FIELD EXPANSION separating a ‘whole’ into ‘parts’ Experimenting on how to divide a single object into smaller fragments while remaining its original shape and being able to develop them into a complete different feature.

This unusal cube is mainly contain the basic geometry shapes such as rectangular, right-angled triangle, rhombus, and equaliteral triangle. The fragmentation of this cube become uncountable when its combineddepending on how someone’s percieve as some are visible and some aren’t although it is imaginable in an abstract way. From form experiment I found out that each geometry shape has its own �lexibility on a certain material and some aren’t. Therefore the cube has been seperated in four layers and inserted along this white spiral shape which is designed to be a closed system for the expansion �ield where the starting point and the ending point is indistinguishable. Now the cube can be unfolded at two dimension along the insertion line exactly towards the edge of the expansion �ield and completely changed its own original feature into a new one.

11 SYSTEM OF DIVISION Is a divided cube still a cube? The project aims to establish a method to order all fragments of division within your system of division. designing the formal operation of separating a ‘whole’ into ‘parts’, and de�ine the formal relation between a fragment and its neighboring others. In order to connect one another, the internal angles of a hexagon always combine to 720 degrees. Thinking of how to form a hexagon shape in a more simplistic way is to combine six triangles to form a hexagon and the inner angles still add up to 720 degrees. Rede�ine the meaning of cube by using thin acrylic sheet in a shape of square to de�ine the �ield of this cube and to play with the hierarchy of each layers. Therefore using these triangles to form new geometry creating new patterns while remaining the external feature of the cube became the main idea.

When the pattern of each layers combined what people will percieve is a complex dimension of small triangle fragments forming one cube under the de�inition of this system of division.

12 ELEMENT WORLD experiencing sequence of spaces Experimenting project on the wind property is started from creating �ive sequences with different thickness of grid lines to see what would happen if the wind and the light passes through these gap. Generating an extreme condition for human to experience this Element World.

The grid line has been arranged in a frequent from 0 , 25 , 50 , 75 and 100 respectively corresponding to the amount of the wind that is able to get through. Adding the same frequent but using translucent material which only allows light to penetrate while the wind is being blocked and place them intersecting. Hence the space become diversely complex. 0% is the most uncomfortable space because nothing can access through the space, 25% will recieve barely light and wind, 50% is the middle space where the amount of light and wind is access equally. 75% is where human will become uncomfortable again as

13 FATIGUE design exhibition workshop Fatigue : weakening of a material caused by repeatedly applied loads. Can we exhaust all the possibilities a material or an object can perform?

A lab of experimentation & documentation to create a video installation with all the options obtained as a library of possibilities together with an atlas of actions to create a publication (book) obtained during the process based on Ikea graphicsand coded We decided to focus on liquid such as water, ink, soap, oil and so on in order to do an intense study and many experiment which resulted in many interesting responses and behaviors that the materials can create. Then we capture that particular moment of liquid into both media including a video and a comic book.

A material exploration was proposed with the objective of recovering one of the main productive traditions in a state of extinction “De Esparto Craftmanship”. Esparto grass is one of local natural resources commonly bounded to produce farming tools and household products, passing techniques from one generation to the next. However it begins to disappear. We completed a series of action to understand and generate a critical position towards the context within a very short time frame. Through a series of brief workshops we connected with the community and the craftsmen, the material, the technique and its history.

We developed a whole story of a stranger visited the town to study and reinterpreted the use of this local material. Production of a video documentary series were projected in various locations in the town presented ourselves as “Alien” to provoke a general state of curiosity towards the project. At the same time, we experimented with the material to create a whole new range of products that were presented during a community event where Aliens and locals celebrated the new appearances of esparto.

15 EBB AND FLOW space saloon , morongo valley , california The project started with the surveying, sketching, and immediate analyzation of data in real time into a site-speci�ic form: team members measured, and recorded various site conditions and then sketched curves and swirls around them. These shapes were then hand drawn and cut by our team in full scale on location — not an export of the original sketch, but in fact a sketch itself. Next, each of the curved platforms were separated by a series of hundreds of wooden pegs placed at syncopated intervals.

The result is a nebulous mirage on the landscape. As visitors move around and about the structure they are met with a kaleidoscopic vision — the randomized nature of the pegs simultaneously hiding and revealing the landscape behind them — as if the world itself was twinkling in and out of existence. 16 DOTS space saloon , morongo valley , california DOTS is a permanent infrastructure conducive to �lexible and temporary inhabitation. A grid - at �ive bays by �ive bays large - consists of moment resisting columns each out�itted with various sleeves for cross bracing and program attachment. The top of the columns, capped with mirrors, align to a datum regardless of the topography below. DOTS provides a framework that creates a consistent proportion for different types of interventions. The team designed and built a number of scenarios that allow for �lexible temporary in-habitation - an experiment in collective camping. These scenarios involve walls, shading devices, and camping platforms that can be partitioned in various con�igurations based on program size, orientations, landscape, and geography throughout the grid. DOTS exists as a ‘stable’ con�iguration yet accommodates a number of ‘unstable’ interventions. 17 BANG NONG SAENG KINDERGARTEN design and construction projects for communities Client: Bang Nong Saeng School Main Sponsor: Mitsubishi Elevator (Thailand) Co.,LTD. Budget: 800,000 THB

The starting point of the project was to create a strategy to balance the available budget with the high expectations of the school, which needed an entire new building for a kindergarten. Therefore, the proposal was to generate a set of modular roofs, designed to grow over time, according to the needs of the school and future donations to complete the set.

The applied constructive techniques have their origin in the reinterpretation of the colorful endemic and self-built architecture of the area, as well as the technology and resources available. The roofs crowned with solar chimneys guarantee the natural ventilation of the spaces, achieving a very good thermal comfort without energy consumption and taking advantage of the qualities of the tropical climate.
