Gold Coast Planning Strategy should provide more than one connection towards the site in question, consequently continuing tourism activities beyond the coast into hinterland areas that improves the transportation system emplacing an incidental cultural hub. To improve the movement between the East and West, green bridges will be allocated between the adjacent islands towards the site, plus a car road that connects Chevron Island with Bundall consequently with the car park.
The landscape will reflect the transition between coastal areas and the hinterland of the Gold Coast in order to amplify touristic attractions other than the coast and also providing green roof and with this less heat reflection of the site. Lastly, create a distributed network that consists in different nodes of transport intersections that will allocate the programmatic activities on the nodes and along the links.

The concept of this design is to create a building able to “frame” views. “Beautiful Form Watcher”is the word etymology of the Kaleidoscope, definition used as the conceptual idea for the design proposal of the Lodge (Building acting as a Kaleidoscope). It follows Griffin’s axis and triangulations in order to link past and present places throughout the history of Australia enabling what this means about distorting images and looking them from different points of views. This shows how Australia’s diversity of identities and cultures can be seen from different perspectives.

“KALEIDOSCOPE” began as an evolving idea from Walter Burley Griffin’s parameters to design the capital city. Griffin’s urban setting consisted in the use of its features for future development. These features were three mountains surrounding this territory: Black Mountain, Mount Ainslie and Mount Pleasant.

The disfunctional connection between the North of Melbourne and the Yarra waterfront due to exhausted infrastructure has driven the city to organize a competition in order to tackle the transportation issue of the city. Flinders Street Station competition called for worldwide firms to provide a design proposal. Energy Production: Piezo Electricity Technology (platforms + Piezo Crystals (water vibrations)
Energy Consumption: Heating and Cooling
This proposal is about retrofiting by adding/removing or moving to the current infrastructure. The design is divided into two categories: transition areas=energy production and waiting areas=energy consumption.
Energy Users: Proxemic Theory within waiting and transition spaces
“Transport interchange through time+space using the proxemic theory to encourage generative activities amongst users of a system where the future consumption depends on past productions

Garden Community Pavilion // academia // abstraction fabrication studio // university of melbourne The Breathing Shelter is a collaboration between the City The idea that one piece of timber can be shaped in a particular way of Melbourne, Arup, Timberbuilt and Abstraction Fabrication to join with another piece to create building modules. The building blocks of the wall are in the form of planter boxes, in an atStudio from the University of Melbourne. tempt to engage and embrace community interaction. Its beginning is embodied in the traditional notion of craft, the idea that one piece of timber can be shaped in a particular way to join with another piece. The shelter responds to environmental effects through the expression of its reciprocal structure. Its variable cladding design allows a permeable structure to become sheltered.

This project consisted in a therapeutic center focused on the Holistic aproach. It included multiple typologies such as administration offices, physical therapies, phsycological therapies buildings, gymnasium, spa facilities+spa, hotel, pool conference rooms and equitation facilities for therapies. Holism works with both the traditional and the alternative medicine.
Alternative medicine is all about nature, leading to an amorphous design. Currently the Sustainable design should be present in every project we design. In order to make this project sustainable, solar panels, louvres, green roof, double glazing and rainwater harvesting were included in it.
The concept used for this design was the five elements of the nature in the chinese culture: Air, Water, Earth, Fire, Wind and Metal. These concepts are used in the exterior and interior as part of the design.
