NATHAN CUTTLE

Nathan’s design approach begins with a thorough study of the site to see how it will inform the conceptual design through circulation, materiality, and form. With the client in mind, special attention is given to the psychology of space to insure efficiency and functionality. His extensive knowledge of construction along with managing trades allows him to design conscious of budget constraints. Nathan has completed residential projects in New York, Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina.

This project developed out of a process of conceptual model making for a retail display system. The spatial planning was then informed by the articulation of the display system and how it could further speak to the overall architectural language of the space. The project consists of three sizes of lumber that make up the display, screen, walls, floor, and doors. Cut lists are generated to speed up the process of construction.
