Several have even installed other linux distributions (i.e. Freespire, Damn Small, Puppy Linux, Fedora, and/or gOS) and have subsequently nuked their Ubuntu Karmic distro. Some have even gone the traitorous distance and defected to Windows. But then again, doesn't Windows also track your user habits? So does Mac. And so does just about any OS dev team or company that cares about making YOU, the user, feel that your needs and wants (in terms of computing) are met. Let's not forget: Data mining is good for you. Keep that in mind the next time you call yourself a consumer and simultaneously rail against the "evil capitalist antichrists" who are using your private information to their advantage. THEY ARE HELPING YOU GET WHAT YOU WANT AND NEED!!! So don't bite the hand that feeds you. The "invisible hand of the markets", I mean... (UPDATE: as of August 11, the "multisearch" tool has been removed from Ubuntu Karmic...)
