Meet Nathie Katzoff...

A Seattle-based designer/artist, and the founder of NK Woodworking & Design, and Nathie Katzoff Art Gallery.

Since beginning his company in 2011, at the young age of 23 years, Nathie has built a global reputation for his award-winning sculptural and complex stairs. He has a large team of artisans who implement this work worldwide. His designs are some of the most striking and creative in the world, claiming many awards and accolades.

In additonal to being known as an expert stair designer and artisan - Nathie has also gained recognition for his collection of luxury wooden art baths, beautiful furniture pieces, and fine art.

In 2020 Nathie’s fine glass art was picked up by Galerie D’Orsay who primalirly sells works by Great Masters, Picasso, Miro, Matisse, Damien Hurst and others. He is currenly represented by a number of galleries and private art curators. His work can be seen in both private and public collections.

Nathie’s work is also being showcased in the distinguished CODA Gallery in Palm Desert, CA. At the end of 2021, he established his own gallery located inside the Pan Pacific Hotel downtown Seattle.

His busy 12,000 sq ft workshop and design studio is based in South Seattle.

THE BANYAN

The BANYAN TREE is not just a stair - but an ambitious sculpture that meanders throughout the whole house. At one point it becomes a bench, then continues to trail around an indoor glass “lake” feature. All of the complex sculptural details have been crafted by hand in the NK Woodworking shop. Fabricated in Sapele Mahogany with custom art glass detail.
