GROW TRUE LEADERS Welcome to the 2018 4-H Curriculum Catalog The books, activities, and kits found within these pages are powerful. They can introduce a young person to what may be their future career. New volunteers can become skilled mentors. And creativity and imagination can flourish in both the minds of young people and adults as new topics are explored and discovered. 4-H curriculum and learning products are designed to provide the highest quality positive youth development experiences and professional development training to help staff, volunteers, teachers, and community partners reach more youth effectively. Developed by experts at universities across the country, curricula in this catalog focus on 4-H’s three primary mission mandates: science, healthy living, and citizenship. Youth activity guides are filled with fun, engaging experiences that cultivate abilities youth need for everyday living as they progressively gain knowledge about subjects that interest them. All products in this catalog have been reviewed and recommended by the National 4-H Peer Review process, signifying excellence in providing hands-on learning experiences for youth and in training and guidance for facilitators.
