Liam O’Connor, one of Ireland’s leading fiddle players, was born into a musical family in Dublin. His solo CD “The Loom” received 5 star reviews and was voted Trad Album of the Year 2017 by the Irish Times. For this concert he collaborates with both John Blake and Paddy McEvoy.

Tradition Now Artist in Residence Aoife Ní Bhriain teams up with German violinist, composer and arranger Florian Willeitner and Dublin based sean-nós singer and multi-instrumentalist Eoghan Ó Ceannabháin to create a new project.
A joyful exploration of the work of some of the trailblazing women at work in traditional and folk music today featuring Eleanor McEvoy, the US composer and fiddler Liz Carroll, three heroines of traditional song Karan Casey, Pauline Scanlon and Niamh Dunne, renowned English folk singer Marry Waterson, the British/Palestinian singer Reem Kelani, and the sibling chemistry of Maighread and Tríona Ní Dhomhnaill.
