DAYS 1–2 I REYKJAVÍK, ICELAND/ GOLDEN CIRCLE Explore downtown Reykjavík. Set out on a trip around the legendary Golden Circle to visit the world’s oldest democratic parliament, the geothermal hotbed at Geysir, and the magnificent Gullfoss waterfall. Canopy by Hilton Reykjavík City Centre | Meals: 1B, 1L, 1D DAYS 3–4 I SNÆFELLSNES Embark on a 4x4 excursion to get up close to Iceland’s second largest glacier, the mighty Langjökull, and descend into a vast lava cave. Spend a day exploring the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. See spectacular Kirkjufell, a lone peak that has been featured in Game of Thrones; then follow the coast to the black-pebble beach at Djúpalónssandur. DAYS 8–10 I MÝVATN/HÚSAVÍK/REYKJAVÍK Soak in hot springs, then wander through the geothermal terrain of Námaskarð and the lava towers of Dimmuborgir.
