DAYS 1–8 I SINGAPORE/MALAYSIAN BORNEO/RAJASTHAN, INDIA Arrive in Singapore and visit the Singapore Zoo, recognized for its orangutan breeding program. See diverse botanical species at the Gardens by the Bay, and visit a nocturnal zoo. Fly by private jet to Sandakan, Borneo, and observe wildlife at the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre and the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre. Cruise the waterways of the Kinabatangan River basin, seeking out unique species with naturalists. Touch down in Jaipur, India and explore the city’s enchanting sites before heading to Ranthambore National Park to seek out the elusive Bengal tiger on safari. DAYS 9–16 I SRI LANKA/MALDIVES/ NOSY BE, MADAGASCAR Fly to Mattala, Sri Lanka and transfer to our beachfront lodge. Watch for elephants, leopards, and sloth bears in Yala National Park and go birding in the wetlands of Bundala National Park. In the Maldives, discover extraordinary marine habitats by glass-bottom boat and on guided snorkeling excursions. Relax on private beaches and enjoy a wildlife cruise. Continue to the island of Nosy Be, and encounter lemurs, chameleons, orchids, and more in nature reserves; or snorkel nearby reefs.

DAYS 17–24 I SOUTH AFRICA/RWANDA/ ITALY Land in Johannesburg and fly by charter to Phinda Private Game Reserve. Explore seven distinct habitats on sunrise and afternoon safaris and bush walks, spotting the “big five” and much more. In Rwanda, go on a full-day gorilla trek and search for golden monkeys with a biologist in Volcanoes National Park. Or stay in Kigali to visit the city’s evocative sites. Fly by private jet to Rome for our final night.
