DAYS 1–2 I VANCOUVER, CANADA/KAMLOOPS Explore the nature trails of Vancouver’s Stanley Park and take in views of the city’s skyline and Vancouver Harbour from the famous seawall. The next day, board the Rocky Mountaineer and enjoy breathtaking scenery en route to Kamloops. Glide by Mount Robson, the tallest summit in the Canadian Rockies. Disembark in Jasper and continue to the lakeside lodge in Jasper National Park. Enjoy a scenic cruise on Maligne Lake, on the lookout for moose, elk, and caribou. DAYS 6–8 I ATHABASCA GLACIER/BANFF NATIONAL PARK/YOHO NATIONAL PARK/ CALGARY Travel along the Icefields Parkway toward Banff National Park, stopping at the Athabasca Glacier for a guided trek atop the ice. Settle into the historic hotel on the shores of Lake Louise, and explore Banff and Yoho National Parks on a series of hikes. Discover Moraine Lake and Emerald Lake, and view the Spiral Tunnels of the Canadian Pacific Railway.
