DAYS 1–2 I KALISPELL, MONTANA/WHITEFISH/ FLATHEAD RIVER Arrive in Kalispell and transfer to Whitefish for an evening at leisure. The next morning, ride the lift to the top of the Big Mountain for a short hike with spectacular views of Glacier National Park’s jagged peaks. After a picnic, enjoy a scenic float or a whitewater-rafting excursion on the Middle Fork of the Flathead River. Grouse Mountain Lodge | Meals: 1B, 1L, 1D DAYS 3–4 I GLACIER NATIONAL PARK Follow the iconic Going-to-the-Sun Road over Logan Pass, encountering incredible mountain vistas at every turn. On the way to the east side of the park, stop for a picnic and choose among various hikes with your guide. Settle into your historic lodge, and enjoy time to relax before dinner. Then journey north to Many Glacier Valley, home to some of the park’s most visible glaciers. Set out on a trek to Grinnell Glacier or a morning hike to Grinnell Lake. DAYS 5–7 I BLACKFEET RESERVATION/ GLACIER NATIONAL PARK/KALISPELL Delve into the culture of the Blackfeet Indians with Blackfeet artist Darrell Norman on a visit to the Lodgepole Gallery and Tipi Village. Then get an in-depth look at Native American history and heritage at the Museum of the Plains Indian. Enjoy a final day exploring the trails in the stunning Two Medicine region of Glacier National Park. Celebrate your adventure with a farewell dinner at the lodge. Depart for Kalispell the next day.
