Welcome message from the President of the Session Dear Participants, it is my utmost pleasure and honor to welcome you all to Athens 2022, the 43rd National Selection Conference of EYP Greece. Based on the principles of personal development and wellbeing, we are all very keen on making this experience as memorable as possible. Through understanding the needs of each and every participant, we intend to foster the event and adapt our approaches to fit all the needs of the session. Me and my team (my lovely vice-presidents and the amazing chairperson) are very determined to create a very good experience for you. Through strong and structured work, we intend to create very good resolutions and have a very strong and good discourse throughout the whole event. On the other hand, we also intend to put heavy emphasis on personal development and on improving yourself as people. Through different methods, we intend to encourage you as much as possible to step out of your comfort zones and to participate at the event to the fullest extent. Set goals for yourself, be it academic goals or more personal goals. Everyone is welcome at the event and we are very well aware that each and every individual has different motivations behind coming to the event, and we intend to understand and support each and every approach. My wish for the session is firstly for us all to have fun. Through fun, the learning experience is very much amplified. By enjoying the work that we do and understanding why we are doing it, the learning experience gets amplified by a very strong factor. You will work closely with your chairpersons and I truly encourage you to take most out of the experience. Each and every one of the chairpersons at the event are motivated individuals who are there to help you and make the experience as memorable as possible. Last but not least, I would like you to think about what you want to take from Athens. Think of your goals, think of your dreams, and try to understand how this event can help you in achieving this. If you come with this, I am sure that your personal development will be more streamlined and more concrete, resulting in better results for not only you, but also for your surrounding. I am looking forward to meeting all of you in Athens in less than a month! Until then, Sincerely yours, Vedad Misirlić President Of Athens 2022
Welcome message from the Editress of the Session
Dear participants, It is my greatest pleasure to welcome you to Athens 2022 - 43rd National Selection Conference of EYP Greece, a session very close to my heart. I have always been interested in the work of EYP because of its main aim; to raise awareness of European issues while motivating young Europeans to become active citizens. Nonetheless, I do believe there is one specific aspect of EYP that overcomes its main aim and makes it so special as an organization; bringing people together. It is true that when young and open-minded individuals get together, there is a chance that extraordinary things will happen. I cannot wait to meet all of you in Athens and to capture the process of the participants’ personal development through fruitful debates and cultural exchange. Alongside with my team, I would love to create heartwarming memories through writing, taking pictures or any other form of art. See you in Athens. Best regards, Anastasia Tsilivakou Editress of Athens 2022
Welcome message from the Head of Jury of the Session Dear participant, It is my utmost pleasure to introduce you the Jury Team of Athens NSC. Composed by 5 individuals from all over Europe, our mission will be to get to know you and your peers better with the aim of providing you with ways of staying engaged in the organization - if you wish to do so - after this event. Whilst we do understand that having us around might make you a bit nervous at first, we truly hope that we can make you feel at home and feel yourself. Our goal as the jury team is not to intimidate anyone, but rather to be able to discover the amazing people that will be taking part in this event. So do not be afraid to be yourself, learn, grow, make new friends and, overall, enjoy the experience! Wishing you a nice day and looking forward to seeing you in Athens, The Jury Team xx

Can't wait to meet you all, Elisavet Roussi Event Safe Person

Welcome message from the Head Organisers of the Session
Dear participants of the 43rd NSC of EYP Greece, It is our outmost privilege and pleasure to welcome you all to this long and delayed journey of the 43rd National Selection Conference of EYP Greece. We view the Organising Team as the backbone of the session. Composed of 15 Organisers, 4 Core-Organisers, and 2 Head-Organisers, the Organising Team in cooperation with its NC board Member, aims to make this experience memorable, while at the same time maintaining the professional and ordered aspect of the session alive. Through hard and consistent pre-session work, with a combination of structured in-session cooperation, we aim to create a welcoming and safe environment for all individuals, but mostly help everyone bring out the better version of themselves. Finally, apart from the organisational aspect of our session, a big part of our vision includes the shaping of determined and motivated individuals, that wish to actively involve in Europe’s most modern problems and become part of the solution. We truly hope that each and every one of you enjoys this experience, just as much as we enjoyed our first experience in EYP. Kind Regards, The Head-Organising Committee of the 43rd NSC of EYP Greece, Kerkoulas Stefanos & Sotiropoulou Drosini
