~Fee's~ Basic Entry fee ~ $189 Ad Page Fee ~ $50 Additional Ad Pages ~ $50 Optional competitions ~ $15 each Tickets w/competition magazine~ $15 in advance $20 at the door (Baby-Jr contestants get one backstage pass for an adult assistant) Page 3

~Ad Page~ Each contestant gets a full page in the competition magazine to display their sponsors, thank family supporters, or for family to send good luck messages. A great way to help with your pageant costs is to sell additional pages. The first $50 goes to the scholarship fund (your cost) however you may choose to sell pages for more. If you sell a standard business card size ad (8 per full page) for just $12.50 you can earn an extra $50 to help with your pageant costs, ($100 total.) An award and 50% National entry fee discount will be awarded to the non-finalist person who sells the most pages. All completed pages will be due no later than Oct. 8th. If you need help with design please email the pageant office for assistance.

~Hotel~ If you are interested in staying in town, the only local hotel within walking distance is The Grand Hotel which does not offer group or discounted rates. There are several hotels within a short driving distance much closer to the freeway. We recommend the Red Lion, Address 3301 Market St NE, Salem, OR 97301 Phone (503) 370-7888

~Scholarship Baskets~ Each contestant is responsible for donating a basket put together for the silent auction during the final show. You may choose a theme (i.e. carwash items, wine and cheese, family movie night, Home spa treatments, etc.) to make it easy. These baskets will help earn money for the scholarship fund. This is a fun, creative way to participate and your sponsors can help too! Sponsors are not always able to help financially but may be able to donate product which you can then put in your auction basket. An award and 50% National entry fee discount will be awarded to the non-finalist person who’s basket auction amount is the highest.

OK, time to step it up. This is a state pageant. For interview, you must wear a suit or professional attire. Mini-Little contestants may still wear something “church appropriate. Some sparkle is ok, but remember this is not a glitz pageant. Nothing more than lip gloss allowed on Mini-Jr division contestants. YOU WILL BE MARKED DOWN FOR WEARING MORE THAN LIP GLOSS! Preteen-Miss may wear interview/age appropriate makeup.

~Playtime~ This competition is for Baby-Tiny division contestants. There will be a space set up for all contestants from both divisions to play. The judges will watch and interact with the contestants to get a feel for their general disposition. It is a good idea to make sure nap time occurs prior to this event. Attire should be adorable casual wear.

~On stage Question~

All contestants in Mini-Miss divisions will answer one question from their bio and one question from a fishbowl on stage. The attire will be their Party/Evening wear.
