2023 YC LEADERSHIP & DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

Join the National Milk Producers Federation’s (NMPF) National Young Cooperators (YC) Program for its annual Leadership and Development Program Nov. 12-13 at the Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel in Orlando, Florida. The two-day event is designed to develop and enhance the leadership and management skills of dairy’s up-and-coming farmer leaders.
This year’s program will focus on organizational, team and personal leadership. Speakers include:
WOODY LARSON, a second-generation dairy farmer and cattle rancher in Okeechobee, Florida
HEATHER WISER SOUBRA, a leadership and executive coach who spent over a decade with the International Dairy Foods Association
SHAWN MANK, a retired naval officer and executive leadership coach
TIM SCHAEFER, the principal at Encore Consultants, who works with family-owned businesses in the areas of business transitions and strategic planning
Program participants will visit Deseret Ranches, the largest cow-calf operation in the United States covering a vast 290,000 acres. Attendees will also enjoy valuable time networking with other young dairy farmers from across the country during meals and receptions, including an outing to Orlando’s historic Milk District.
Registration for the YC Leadership and Development Program includes entry to the Joint Annual Meeting of NMPF, the National Dairy Promotion and Research Board and the United Dairy Industry Association Nov. 14-15.
