Make Plans for NSA in 2025 and 2026!
• Place 1st–5th in your region’s NSA event
• Advance to the NATS National Student Auditions.
• Win your share of more than $84,000 in prizes.
To participate in the national rounds of these auditions, students of NATS members qualify by entering one region’s NSA and placing in their region’s auditions. The top 5 singers from each region’s NSAeligible categories advance to the national online preliminary round. Fifteen singers from each of 34 categories plus the Hall Johnson Spirituals Competition during conference years and the 3 American Negro Spirituals Categories in non-conference years — all advance to the national semifinal round. The top 3 singers in each national semifinal category audition in the national final round. Prize money is awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.
Eligibility in any NSA category is determined by a voice student’s length of study, voice type, and age on September 1st. Only students currently studying voice with a NATS member may enter the NSA. Visit NATS.org for details.
