It makes you a better worker, friend, lover and parent… BUT many people don’t know where to start when it comes to creating a self care ritual. Following this simple chart gets you clear on how you can make this a priority and ensure set up quality time to take care of YOU!

HOW DO I WANT TO FEEL? Write down all the words that you want to feel today/ this week/ this month. Use a thesaurus if you need to and come up with words that you really connect to!

WHERE COULD I GO? What places make you feel most alive and joyful? If you can’t leave the housewhat areas within your home or nearby bring you into alignment? Create beautiful spaces close by.

WHAT DO I LOVE TO DO? What activities set your soul on fire or make you feel the most YOURSELFsurfing, dancing, meditating, listening to music, having a bath.

WHAT IS HOLDING ME BACK? Get really honest here - what excuses am I using that prevent me from prioritising my own self care practiseseg. I’m too busy, it’s selfish, I don’t have enough money...

Are there any objects or items that you love and can be part of your self-care ritual? This could be a crystal you found under a waterfall in Brazil, or your beloved surfboard!

What changes do I need to make in my life to prioritise rituals? Inform family and friends, less time on screens, waking up 30 minutes earlier etc.

WHEN CAN I CARVE OUT TIME? How much time can I realistically commit to self care this month? And where can I gather more time from e.g. can I take an hour from my 'social media' time and spend it on self care ritual...

HOW WILL I STAY COMMITTED? Do I need an accountability buddy? Do I need to make a public statement in e.g. The Hub Facebook group to acknowledge and hold myself accountable?
