grapeseed. vine fresh
technical extraction cold pressed origin the seeds of Vitis vinifera location parma region of Italy Situated between the hills of Parma, Italy our Grapeseed is extracted from high quality grapes used in the winemaking process. Rich in minerals and Vitamin E. It is the mainstay of the therapist, aromatherapist and cosmetic cream maker. Grapeseed is naturally one of the biggest selling oils and therefore when sourcing our oil, we knew we had to find something special, something which would make our Grapeseed stand head and shoulders above everyone else’s. The Mediterranean climate makes for stable growing conditions for Grapes and ensures the highest quality. The more sunshine, the richer the mineral and Vitamin content. Grown and pressed and in a time honoured Mediterranean method, once the grapes have been pressed for winemaking, they are quickly moved to the oil presses to ensure freshness and the optimum level of mineral and vitamin value is maintained. Our grapeseed is
pressed and in containers within 12 hours of the original grape being harvested from the vine. Working directly with growers allows us to bring you a freshness which is unheard of. We are the only Aromatherapy company in the UK that purchases direct from the grower, ensuring freshness, exceptional quality, traceability and by cutting out intermediate companies we pass the cost savings on to you. Grapseed Oil is a wonderfully versatile oil and is suitable for use directly in massage, especially where there maybe concerns with nut allergies. olive. technical extraction cold pressed origin the seeds of Olea europa location parma region of Italy Situated on the lush hills of Parma, Italy our Olive oil is extracted from a rich blend of Frantoio, Leccino Pendolino and Morailolo olives which have been growing for centuries in the region and known to be the finest in the world. A versatile & rich skincare oil, high quality olive oil has a very useful place in skincare and aromatherapy. Virgin Olive oil is one of the oldest oils used in skincare and many in Mediterranean regions not only attribute their general health to the consumption of olive oil, but also to the topical application, either used alone or in skincare products. The rich combination of omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids ensures that Olive oil provides a rich substrate to protect and nourish the skin and with natural antioxidants (Vitamin E, carotenoids and oleuropein (a naturally occurring chemical which prevents oxidation of particles)) it is well suited for use in skincare. It is possible to make highly effective moisturisers which are based wholly around Olive oil, or use as a skin protector, especially useful after a day in the sun, and when combined with Lavender & Chamomile. For men, the use of Olive oil as a shaving oil is an effective way to give glide and protection to the skin during shaving and natural soothing after.
