After having worked for many years as AC MILAN’s Technical Supplier, because of a collaboration based primarily on the sharing of some important values such as good sportsmanship, social commitment, and environmental protection, Giorgio Tesi Group has returned for two seasons, after five years of unforgettable successes, Title Sponsor on the jerseys of Pistoia Basket 2000, a team that plays in the Legadue Basketball League. Its pride and joy, among the company’s many initiatives linked to the world of sports— particularly its dual role in sports and social commitment—is undoubtedly represented by the Giorgio Tesi Junior project. It was conceived in 2016 to support Pistoia sports by rewarding the organizations that have distinguished themselves by promoting good sportsmanship and organizing the youth sector.

It includes Pistoia Basket Academy, Blue Volley Quarrata, DLF Pattinaggio Pistoia, Rugby Pistoia “Gli Orsi”, ACU Sporting Casini, Nico Basket Femminile, ASD Jammin Academy Musica Vera, Avis Volley, and ASD Club Mazzoni Volley. All these clubs invest determination and will in promoting local sports as a determining value for the growth of future generations.

Social commitment

Obiettivo della Fondazione è valorizzare i principi e le virtù che hanno ispirato tutta la loro vita: la solidarietà verso i più deboli e gli emarginati, l’umiltà e la correttezza, il rispetto degli altri e l’impegno verso i più deboli. Questi valori, supportati da una forte fede e dalla passione di decine di persone, sono alla base dell’attività della Fondazione.

I progetti sostenuti sono promossi da enti o privati in condizione di bisogno, indirizzati con privilegio ad anziani, bambini e malati. Un importante impegno della Fondazione è riservato alle donazioni di piante ad istituzioni, scuole, ospedali, enti e associazioni benefiche.

The objective of the Foundation is to valorise the principles that have guided them in their life: solidarity for the most vulnerable ones, humility and honesty, and respect for the others. These values, supported by the strong faith and passion of many people, are at the base of the Foundation activity.

The projects are supported by public or private organisations whose objective is helping the elderly, children, and sick people who are in need. An important commitment of the Foundation is reserved to donation of plants to charity institutions, schools, hospitals, organisations, and associations.
