Mushrooms are very popular right now in the health and wellness community, and reishi in particular is currently in many functional beverages. Botanica Health makes a Reishi Hot Chocolate made from a whole food blend of cocoa, dates, reishi, chocolate, and coconut. INGREDIENTS

2 tsp Botanica Reishi Hot Chocolate 1 tsp Organika Maca + Cacao 1 tbsp collagen powder 1 tbsp coconut butter 1 tsp raw cacao ½ cup coconut milk 1 cup water Optional: 1 tbsp honey or sweetener of choice Optional Toppings: coconut whip and shaved dark chocolate

DIRECTIONS

1. In a saucepan, heat the coconut milk and water over medium-high heat. 2. Add the milk mixture and the rest of the ingredients to a blender. 3. Blend on high for 20–30 seconds to get the drink frothy. 4. Top with coconut whip and shaved dark chocolate. Serve immediately.
