Top 7 Benefits of Bench Seating for the Patio 1. Encourages Conversation When two people are sitting together on a bench, they’ll feel a closer connection, both literally and figuratively. So, while traditional seating options like chairs create a distance between two people, benches bring them together
2. Durable Benches, offer a superior level of strength and durability. You don’t have to worry about it falling apart or otherwise breaking
3. Saves Space
benches are naturally a great seating option for tight spaces
4. Easy to Clean requires nothing more than an occasional wipe down with a damp washcloth
5. Stable
This is particularly important for homeowners living in areas prone to hurricanes and severe weather
6. Decorative We can’t talk about the benefits of bench seating without mentioning aesthetics. Granted, benches are available in dozens if not hundreds of different styles
7. Weather Resistant
Manufacturers add a protective coating on the outside that prevents the intrusion of moisture and germs
MATERIALS Oak wood An oak is a tree or shrub in the genus Quercus of the beech family, Fagaceae. There are approximately 500 extant species of oaks. The common name "oak" also appears in the names of species in related genera, notably Lithocarpus, as well as in those of unrelated species such as Grevillea robusta and the Casuarinaceae
flat sheet metal is metal formed by an industrial process into thin, flat pieces. Sheet metal is one of the fundamental forms used in metalworking, and it can be cut and bent into a variety of shapes. Countless everyday objects are fabricated from sheet metal. Thicknesses can vary significantly; extremely thin sheets are considered foil or leaf, and pieces thicker than 6 mm (0.25 in) are considered plate steel or "structural steel".
Beige faux leather Artificial leather, also called synthetic leather, is a material intended to substitute for leather in upholstery, clothing, furniture, and other uses where a leather-like finish is desired but the actual material is cost prohibitive or unsuitable.
