Hymn:
―Praise My Soul‖
Praise, my soul, the King of heaven, To his feet thy tribute bring; Ransomed, healed, restored, forgiven, Who like me his praise should sing? Alleluia! Alleluia! Praise the everlasting King.
Father-like, he tends and spares us, Well our feeble frame he knows; In his hands he gently bears us, Rescues us from all our foes: Alleluia! Alleluia! Widely as his mercy flows.
Praise him for his grace and favour To our fathers in distress; Praise him still the same as ever, Slow to chide, and swift to bless: Alleluia! Alleluia! Glorious in his faithfulness.
Angels, help us to adore him; Ye behold him face to face; Sun and moon, bow down before him, Dwellers all in time and space: Alleluia! Alleluia! Praise with us the God of grace.

Offertory Hymn:
―Will Your Anchor Hold‖
Will your anchor hold in the storms of life, When the clouds unfold their wings of strife? When the strong tides lift and the cables strain, Will your anchor drift, or firm remain?
It will surely hold in the Straits of Fear— When the breakers have told that the reef is near; Though the tempest rave and the wild winds blow, Not an angry wave shall our bark o’erflow.
Refrain
Refrain
We have an anchor that keeps the soul Steadfast and sure while the billows roll, Fastened to the Rock which cannot move, Grounded firm and deep in the Savior’s love.
It will firmly hold in the Floods of Death—When the waters cold chill our latest breath, On the rising tide it can never fail, While our hopes abide within the Veil. Refrain
It is safely moored, ’twill the storm withstand, For ’tis well secured by the Savior’s hand; And the cables, passed from His heart to mine, Can defy that blast, thro’ strength divine. Refrain
When our eyes behold through the gath’ring night The city of gold, our harbor bright, We shall anchor fast by the heav’nly shore, With the storms all past forevermore. Refrain

Sermon Prayer for the Family Prayer of Thanksgiving & Commendation Benediction Recessional Hymn – Through the Love of God our Saviour
He had a strong determination to succeed in whatever he set out to do and so he excelled in a career of his passion, the culinary arts. He was a graduate of Elim Agricultural College and Johnson & Wales University.
Through the love of God our Saviour, All will be well, Free and changeless is His favour; All, all is well. Precious is the blood that healed us, Perfect is the grace that sealed us, Strong the hand stretched forth to shield us, All must be well. We expect a bright to-morrow; All will be well, Faith can sing through days of sorrow, All, all is well. On our Father’s love relying, Christ our every need supplying, Whether living now, or dying, All must be well.
Though we pass through tribulation. All will be well, Ours is such a full salvation; All, all is well. Happy, still in God confiding, Fruitful, if in Christ abiding, Holy, through the Spirit’s guiding, All must be well.

Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine! O what a foretaste of glory divine! Heir of salvation, purchase of God, born of his Spirit, washed in his blood.
This is my story, this is my song, praising my Savior all the day long; this is my story, this is my song, praising my Savior all the day long.

Perfect submission, perfect delight, visions of rapture now burst on my sight; angels descending bring from above echoes of mercy, whispers of love. (Refrain)

Perfect submission, all is at rest; I in my Savior am happy and blest, watching and waiting, looking above, filled with his goodness, lost in his love. (Refrain)
The Lord’s My Shepherd (Happy Wanderer)
He met and fell in love with the girl of his dreams, Patsy, a beautiful woman with a gentle spirit.
1.
The Lord's my Shepherd, I'll not want; He makes me down to lie In pastures green; He leadeth me The quiet waters by.
3. Yea, tho' I walk in death's dark vale, Yet will I fear no ill; For Thou art with me, and Thy rod And staff me comfort still.
2.
My soul He doth restore again And me to walk doth make Within the paths of righteousness, E'en for His own name's sake.
4. My table Thou hast furnished In presence of my foes; My head Thou dost with oil anoint, And my cup overflows.
5. Goodness and mercy, all my life, Shall surely follow me; And in God's house forevermore My dwelling place shall be

He wills that I should holy be, What can withstand His will? The counsel of His grace in me He surely shall fulfill.

The bliss of those that fully dwell, Fully in Thee believe, 'Tis more than angel tongues can tell, Or angel minds conceive.
4
Jesus, I hang upon Thy Word; I steadfastly believe Thou wilt return and claim me, Lord And to Thyself receive.
9.
Thou only knowst, Who didst obtain, And die to make it known; The great salvation now explain, And perfect us in one!
5. Joyful in hope, my spirit soars To meet Thee from above, Thy goodness thankfully adores; And sure I taste Thy love.

TO MY DEAR DAD
He fathered three beautiful children and ensured that he encouraged them to approach life with the same determination and focus as he did.
Dad... so many images come to mind whenever I speak your name; It seems without you in my life things have never been the same.
Dad, who will I turn to for answers when life does not make sense; Who will be there to hold me close when the pieces just don't fit.
What happened to those lazy days when I was just a child; When my life was consumed in you in your love, and in your smile.
Oh, Dad, if I could turn back time and once more hear your voice; I'd tell you that out of all the dads you would still be my choice.
What happened to all those times when I always looked to you; No matter what happened in my life you could make my gray skies blue.
Please always know I love you and no one can take your place; Years may come and go but your memory will never be erased.
Dad, some days I hear your voice and turn to see your face; Yet in my turning...it seems the sound has been erased.
Today, Jesus, as You are listening in your home above; Would you go and find my dad and give him all my love. - Judy Burnette
Memories of You by Unknown
I remember everything about you, your voice, your smile, your touch, the way you walked, the way you talked, the way you looked at me, meant so much. I remember all the words you said to me, some funny, some kind, some wise, all of the things you did for me, I see now with different eyes. I remember every moment we shared, seems like only yesterday, or maybe it was eons ago, It's really hard to say. You are gone from me now, but one thing they can't take away, your memory resides inside my heart, and lights up my darkest days.
He had a quiet, gentle spirit yet was the first to offer a smile or enjoy a good joke.
