2.7 Capstone Module
CAPSTONE MODULE
The Capstone Module is offered only to those taking the full LLM in Legal Practice. This module will develop your knowledge and skills in focusing on a specialised and integrated understanding of an area of law or legal practice. Students work with a supervisor to choose a business project or area of practice and develop the cognitive and technical skills to synthesise information and critically analyse the project topic/practice area. You produce an in-depth report, piece of know-how or even a precedent guide to the chosen area or project topic which relates directly to legal practice. Credits for LLM in Legal Practice
60 at FHEQ Level 7
Course Options and Timing
This module will be open for the duration of the LLM in Legal Practice so students can self-pace their project. There will be an introductory session with your supervisor at the start of the LLM and check-in points throughout the duration of the LLM.
