? WHO ARE WE

We offer the complete education solution to our global network of 180 Accredited Partner Centres in more than 50 countries. Originally part of the National Computing Centre, NCC Education was established as a computing initiative by the British Government in 1966. We began offering IT qualifications over 50 years ago and gradually expanded our higher education portfolio to include Business, English Language and Foundation level qualifications. We have evolved to become international specialists in Computing, IT and Business qualifications with an expanding portfolio to adapt to the needs of today’s working environments and workplaces. With five regional offices strategically placed around the world in China, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Singapore, South Africa and the UK, our Accredited Partner Centres have support within their time zone as and when needed.

Artificial Intelligence A branch of computer science which develops machine intelligence to work and think like humans. For example, problem-solving and speech recognition. ON THE JOB... expect to work on projects such as face recognition and detection software or self-driving cars.

ON THE JOB... expect to work on continuous improvement of an organisations’ technologies, to help them become more efficient and respond to the evolving nature and speed of advancing technology.

Cloud Computing The delivery of a variety of services delivered through the Internet, such as data storage, servers, software and databases. ON THE JOB... expect to work in e-commerce, banking, finance and facilitate the emergence of remote working.

Internet of Things The purpose of connecting a network of physical objects embedded with sensors, software and other technologies. ON THE JOB... expect to work on the growth of smart cities, a world of connected appliances, wearables and smart home technologies, whilst also on projects to increase the accessibility of technology to all.

NCC Education are on the UK funding register and have a range of ESFA funded programmes including: • Level 2 Award in Computing (Digital Literacy) • Level 3 Diploma in Computing (included in the Level 3 Skills Guarantee qualification list)* • Level 3 Diploma in Business *The Level 3 Skills Guarantee list includes over 379 qualifications which are fully funded for adults without prior qualifications – equivalent to two full A-Levels.

Ofsted Framework NCC Education offers a full programme to support training providers in meeting the Ofsted Framework Introduced in January 2019, the new Ofsted Framework covers four key principles of learning:

Our Academic and Quality Teams work with you to ensure that we always meet these standards of delivery.

All funded learners will have additional access to NCC Education Fundamentals, a suite of online bitesize learning modules at no cost. This enables additional learning and skills on top of the funded programmes for free. The bitesize courses are designed with the evergrowing needs of todays workplaces and enrich the education offering for all learners. Learners will be able to choose from a range of topics which are relevant to developing their digital skills, including Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, Data science, Internet of Things and more. Available on any device, the flexibility of the bitesize learning enables students to develop their skills whilst continuing with their CPD and digital careers.
