Who are NC Drifting?
NC Drifting are a professional drift team based in Wexford, Ireland. Nigel Colfer, the owner and driver of the team started competing in the Irish Drift Championship 8 years ago and has progressed through the ranks to his position now as one of the best known and most feared drivers across Europe.
NC Drifting now focus their attention on the Extreme Drift Allstars European Championship. Having finished Vice Drift Allstars Champion in 2011 and 2012, with a 4th place finish overall in the 2014 Series, including a major car build at the beginning of the season, the team are now keen to get back to where they belong in 2015.
The NC Drifting team understands that it takes more than just results to reach the top of the sport and focuses a lot of attention on building relations with sponsors and fans. It is a testament to their beliefs that NC Drifting have acquired and built a strong relationship with many high profile international companies to help them reach their goal of being the best in Europe.

What is drifting? Drifting started in Japan over 10 years ago and is now the fastest growing motorsport in the world. Considered more an extreme sport by some, drifting is scored by a team of judges on speed, style, drift angle and overall impact. It is common place to see two 650bhp plus cars side by side and swapping paint at over 100mph sideways. Due to the compact nature of drift events, spectators can view an entire event from one vantage point, meaning they never miss a second of action unlike most other motorsports.

THE Nc Drifting Nissan (2jz) 180sx The latest NC Drifting Nissan 180sx was built from a bare chassis prior to the start of the 2014 season. Built to a bespoke spec in Ireland, the NC Drifting team called upon years of experience with this chassis to put together one of the most competitive Nissans in Europe. Developed from the ground up to the highest standards, no part of the build has been overlooked. Utilising the Toyota 3.0 2JZ engine the car now has the potential to push out over 800bhp through a Tex Racing 4 speed dog box. Drivability was high on the list of attributes needed and the car is super competitive on every track, from the tight and technical street circuits, to the massive wide open race tracks.
Special attention has been paid to the chassis and suspension of the car. With a custom roll cage and safety modifications built to stringent FIA regulations it is not only a safe chassis but also one of the stiffest allowing the custom built Kw coilovers and Wisefab suspension to work to their upmost capabilities.

Media Presence With Nigel being one of the most successful competitors in the Extreme Drift Allstars European Championship this guarantees a lot of attention at each and every round that he competes in. Press Conferences, Livestream and TV Interviews as well as inclusion in viral videos for the event is commonplace. Static media is extensive, with pictures coming from fans and professional photographers alike following each event.
Nigel is regularly featured as a key driver in the Series in 8 episodes of Drift Allstars TV, to be broadcast from October 2014, reaching 160 million homes worldwide. Combined Drift Allstars media reach of over 7m people PER EVENT through sponsors, drivers and Drift Allstars networks. Nigel has a very professional attitude towards drifting and always makes time for fans, making him one of their favourites across the world.

NC Drifting 2015 Programme During the 2014 season the NC Drifting encountered some challenges that hampered their progress, but for 2015 they are looking to re-align their programme back to a privateer set up that has proven so successful in the past. This offers new partners and sponsors a chance to gain maximum return on investment and exposure for the 2015 season.
The 2014 season has been a great test bed for the new car with progress and updates throughout the season. The car is now very competitive and we are ready to hit the 2015 championship hard from the very beginning!
